A must if you are in or passing through Arthur River. Combination of southern ocean breaking on the reef entry to Arthur River is wild! Then add the mature trees that wash down the river and thrown back by the surf on the cliffs and it's spectacular.

I adored this drive... it takes you to some amazing places like- * Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area * West Point Reserve * Bluff Hill Point * Arthur River Coastal Walk * Edge of the World * Sundown Point Reserve * Nelson Bay * Couta Rocks * Western Explorer * Balfour Track * Kannunah Bridge * Sumac Lookout * Julius River * Julius River Motorhome Site * Lake Chisholm * Dempster Plains * Wes Beckett Falls * Rapid River * Sinkhole * Milkshake Hills * Tayatea Bridge ...and last but not least * Trowutta Arch The road is windy and you can do it without a map, but if you pick up a map from any Tourist Information Centre nearby it will tell you the difficulty of the walk and how long it will take... that way you can plan your day. Naively I tried to do this in the early afternoon and you really need a whole day to explore all of these places. I still managed to hike my way through a few of the walks and the lookouts. It's a fantastic out enjoying the best nature has to offer.
