Alliance is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio. Most of the city is located in northeast Stark County while a small portion is in adjacent Mahoning County. The population was 22,322 as of the 2010 census. Alliance was established in 1854 by combining three smaller communities. The city was a manufacturing and railroad hub for much of the 20th century and is also associated with the state flower of Ohio, the scarlet carnation, and is known as "The Carnation City". The University of Mount Union, a private liberal arts college established in 1846, is located in Alliance.

Jupiter Studios is a wonderful music venue with great sound and a beautiful renovated 1925 art deco building. Live Music 4 nights a week, Local Artists works displayed, rotating monthly. Excellent food: organic pizza and salads, and good beer selection. A great night out for less than the price of one ticket to the opera and more fun! Plus it supports a cause: almost all the food is locally grown!

A 45 minute guided tour will fill your day with mystique and magic as you are taken through two floors, six rooms, and a troll cave complete with waterfalls and and a troll mountain. There is a DreamWorks Trolls exhibit and guest appearances by Poppy on select days.
