My wife and I had a short amount of time to kill before doing a food tour, so we stumbled upon this pub while in Lyon Old Town. It was a pleasant surprise. The beer selection is good and diverse. It is styled like an old-fashioned Irish pub, so if you're into that type of thing, this works. A special shout out should be made to the manager, Wendell. Wendell is American, but has been living in Lyon for a fairly long time. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to converse with him for the short time we had. It was informative to speak with someone who could tell us about Lyon, living in France after having grown up in the United States, that kind of thing. It was actually a major highlight of the trip, despite all of the sightseeing and food tasting. It's the little things in life, like that encounter, that make it enjoyable. If you're from the USA and visiting Lyon Old Town, stop in and have a pint, and converse with Wendell, he's a cool dude.
