The 1634 Meadery is a small craft winery making mead from local products such as honey and fruit. Come visit our beautiful tasting room constructed from 17th century barn wood, sample some wonderful mead. And then get a quick, informative tour our our production facility to find out how mead is made! We have demonstration beehive, and will educated you on bees and honey!
I love this place and the folks that run it. I have been drinking mead for several years and 1634 offers lots of different varieties, from sweet to dry, so there is something for everyone. The prices are good for mead and the quality. Ask them any questions about mead and receive a history lesson about the name, how it was made in the past and currently made. Lots of fun all around. I brought friends up and we all had great times. It is about a 45 minute drive from Boston, depending on traffic, or a 15 minute walk from the Ipswich train station, which also takes 45 minutes from North Station. Well worth a walk around Ipswich too. They also do lots of farmers markets, so get your hands on some mead without even going far from home. I highly recommend 1634 for all your mead!!!

While Cameron's Winery is a great place to stop in the late afternoon or evening for wine and conversation, Leslie and Paul will open for group outings and events. Recently I attended a luncheon to honor several people and it couldn't have been a nicer experience! The wine was great and the meal choices were fantastic. We had a lovely time in a beautiful atmosphere and had the whole place to ourselves.

Hi everyone, we are open for on-premise enjoyment of some great vino, locally produced, craft beer, and some delicious food! (To minimize employee guest contact, we are not currently offering tasting flights.) We will be operating at a significantly reduced capacity and with numerous other safety measures in place. In short, reservations are 100% required, we will provide table service, and groups are limited to 6 people. Please visit our website if you would like to make a reservation. Trust us, we know it is a completely new way to operate for the winery, so please contact us with any questions. We continue to provide curb side pick-up, free local delivery, and shipping in MA. Please check website for special hours.
My husband & I stumbled on this beautiful hidden gem in the Berkshire’s...Situated on a pretty lake, this place offers fantastic views, great wine, delicious food (from Biggins Diggins, a cool food truck with excellent lobster rolls), and live music by a very talented musician named Brian. We scheduled a reservation online and scored a table for 2 under a tent , which worked out wonderfully since it was a pretty hot sunny day. With the reservation they allowed us to stay as long as we like, anywhere between 12:30pm-4:30pm. Social distancing was observed, and guests are required to wear masks when not seated at their table. Outside the tent, other guests were spread out over the rolling lawn with chairs, picnic blankets & umbrellas, and some found a shady spot under a tree. Excellent service & friendly staff.. this is absolutely one of the best wineries we have visited. The ultimate relaxing afternoon at this happy place!

We craft high quality wines and ciders from local fruit that thrives in our volatile northeastern climate. Enjoy a wine tasting or wine by the glass overlooking our vineyard or inside our new tasting room. A variety of local cheese and foods are available and bands and food trucks also frequently visit our winery on the weekends. Open weekends from 11-5.

While you can't get a real tasting/flight of wines right now, you can get a couple free sample tastings. Delicious fruit wines. Loved the peach blueberry and cranberry raspberry wines. The gal behind the tasting counter was friendly and very helpful. Oh, they sell maple syrup, and you can do a tasting of that as well. The cinnamon infused maple syrup is outstanding. They also sell trees, wreaths, and cemetery baskets. Definitely recommend this place.

Who are we? We are just about the coolest place on planet Earth. Having never personally traveled to other parts of the galaxy, we can't quite say "in all the Milky Way" but we're pretty confident that we would make the top 10. Here on Nantucket we have a Winery, Brewery, and Distillery. Nantucket Vineyard was the first arm of our business opening in the early 1980's as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and voila! - Cisco Brewers was born on the Hudson's stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a Mr. Harman. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses / pints (respectively) together and hatched the idea for Triple Eight Distillery in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and we now produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits. Come out and enjoy our Nantucket haven- just prepare yourself in case your mind blows up from all the awesomeness. Open everyday year-round, dog and kid friendly!
It is hard to believe that places like this exist, we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was rocking! Great live music, a variety of bars -wine, beer and mixed drinks await. I had the frose, delicious and potent! They have food carts/trucks and sell merchandise too. Bring your kids, your dogs, whatever you like, everyone is welcome. I LOVED this place.

Westport Rivers is one of my top three favorite vineyards in New England. The wonderful wine aside, the family, staff and property are magical. As soon as I turn down the drive my stress dissipates and a smile appears on my face. They have food trucks there on the weekends; a summer concert series on Friday nights and plenty of unique and fun events centered around their wine and understanding how they make it.
