Beginning in 2008, the Swiney Family planted a two acre vineyard consisting of two varieties, Norton and Traminette. Our journey from grapes to wine has led us to the restoration of our century old barn to house our new winery called Arpeggio.

We like to take day trips in our convertible on nice days and enjoy experiencing wineries. This winery was wonderful! Beautiful setting and building. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is a stage for music. Related to Covid, they were following the recommended guidelines. Many times at these small wineries in small towns, the wine isn't that great. Fortunately that was not our experience here. Sometimes you can find a white that is drinkable, but not a red. We found that all the wines were good and we left with bottles of 2 different types of red and one white. Our favorite wines were Symphony (bold spicy red), Duet (light Pinot Noir) and Harmony (off-dry white blend). You can bring your own snacks, but they do have some food items for purchase. If you aren't a wine drinker, they also sell beer (decent number of options), soft drinks and water. We will be back!

We have visited this winery a few times now, and it's a great place to hang out with friends and relax in the country. The owners are great people and very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine. Our favorites are the Rose (we don't go home without at least one bottle to go) and the Norton.

I have to August Hill on multiple occasions and each time I've never been disappointed. Friday night before the wine walk there was lovely live music. It was busy, but service did not falter. I will note that It was difficult to carry a conversation with the live music. Saturday of the wine walk it was incredibly busy (as I had suspected it would be) however the staff absolutely kept up. We found seating at the couches, but no table. During an incredibly busy time, they went out of their way to find a table and brought it over. Outside of the great service, the wine offerings were fantastic and tastey.

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Sky Suite For two nights and we absolutely loved it! The surrounding is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. There is a stunning pond and so Much outdoor seating. Our check in was so easy and our concierge Grace was so kind and helpful. All the staff at Blue Sky is so helpful and goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. We drove almost five hours and didn’t really know what to expect but our experience was beyond wonderful. The wine is just exceptional and so is the service from the staff. The food is really good too; we really enjoyed their pizza and chocolate cake. Our room was so cute and very clean. It comes with a small fridge, microwave, tv and WiFi. You can choose either breakfast or a free bottle of wine. We even bought some of their shirts and souvenirs. It is an amazing place for a couples getaway. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you Blue Sky!!

We visited this cute winery and had a tasting and a bite to eat from their cafe. We were able to eat on their back porch area, which was cool, but enjoyable. They did have two propane heaters. The sandwiches and wine was good, and ended up purchasing three bottles. Would like to visit again when weather is warmer and not in the middle of a pandemic.

Nice outdoor area with a deck and grassy area. The area is dog friendly. The tables were well spaced out and they were enforcing masks inside. The cider was great! You could also order food. They had live music which was a nice touch. The drive to the vineyard is gravel and a bit rough.

We enjoyed wine flights and music on the outside deck with propane heaters - wonderful ambiance and wine! We will definitely be back again.
