An absolutely amazing day out in the Tuscan Hills! Also a little visit to Vinci along the way (the home of Leonardo Da Vinci) Emilia was a fantastic tour guide. We will meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the statue of the same name, where our local guide will be waiting for us. We will start walking through the streets of the historic center, in search of the more traditional flavors of local cuisine ... How about a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts with a good Spritz? We will taste these delicacies in one of the oldest wine bars in Pisa! Of course, not even a portion of cecina can be missing, a very thin focaccia prepared with chickpea flour, a real must of Pisan gastronomy and the típical pizza we made in the city which is different from other places in Italy. During the tour we will discover restaurants known only by the locals, where we will be delighted by the typical dishes of the gastronomy of Pisa, such as the wild board pasta and the pappa al pomodoro pasta típical of the city. Everything with a good glass of wine or an artigianal beer. We will finish with the dessert cantuccini con Vin santo really típical of Tuscany.

Christian helped make our Florence experience memorable! My husband and I traveled throughout Italy with our two young children ( 8 and 5 years old) and they were so excited for their Fiat tour. They were the only kids on the tour but Christian made sure it fun and educational for them. The whole group was inviting and it was great to get to meet people from all around the world! My kids can not wait to travel more and still talk about how awesome the tour was. I highly recommend this tour with or without kids. We were taken to scenic views throughout Tuscany and even had to maneuver through the streets of Florence in a super fun classic Fiat. Everywhere we drove people would stop and wave because of the group of Fiats brought joy to everyone! This was the best tour we took in Italy and when we come back for a visit we are definitely doing it again! (Our tour was pre-covid)

Only 7 people and the tour was by Van. The driver guided us during the drive but no guide joined us at our stop in Castellina. Professional presentations at the wineries. Especially at Poggio Amorreli with Andrea where we were treated with Spumante, one white and two red Chianti and one supertuscan. We also got bread, cheese, salami with their own balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The driver called for a taxi upon arrival in Florence ????

We were a group of 13 and booked 2 mini van with Ciao Italy Tours. First thing to my surprise was that David from Ciao was able to contact and reconfirmed the pick up details via WhatsApp call, while we were cruising to Livorno Port. Then we were picked up by 2 very experience guides Paolo and Carlo, they were very knowledgeable and were not just a driver. They took us to Pisa and Florence and explained details about the places of interest. Also, we were so pleased that Paolo and Carlo had brought us to a local Italian restaurant, which we had an excellent lunch.
