Our walking tour was led by Francesca Nastasi, a destination expert at Experience My Portofino. Her title could not describe this young lady more appropriately! Francesca met us at the train station in Santa Margherita and proceeded to give us a tour of that beautiful city, entwining history with points of interest and her own interesting takes of the city. We stopped at a café where she insisted on paying for our coffee. We then boarded a boat to Portofino with Francesca narrating about the castles and countryside along the way. When we docked in Portofino, she took my wife on a tour to a church on an inclined walk which I declined to accompany them as I was already coming down with a nasty cold. :-( When they returned, we had a trip to the only bakery in Portofino where we were bought some focaccia, which was divine, and some aqua minerale. All this time Francesca was enlightening us with history and interesting stories of Ferrari and Andrea Bocelli renting out the square and port of Portofino for private functions. When traveling back to Santa Margherita, Francesca then pointed out some places for us to enjoy lunch. We finally settled on a pizza parlor she recommended where the pizzas were bigger than the tables! Good choice, Francesca! She also advised us to try farinata, which we ended up trying in Manarola. Another great recommendation! Based on our time with Francesca, I would highly recommend Experience My Portofino and I would most surely recommend requesting the services of this lovely, knowledgeable guide, Francesca Nastasi. A+++

Our family of five really enjoyed our tour with Beatrice. Her personal and sincere love of Genoa and it’s delicious food made us appreciate this dynamic city even more deeply. Beatrice organized the tour so well and we had more than enough beautiful Genovese food selections so that even our teenage boy’s bottomless pits were satisfied at least for a moment. Genoa has the most wonderful food that surely has universal appeal. We strolled through the city at a comfortable pace enjoying a conversational tour that Beatrice had thoughtfully organized as a dinner with appetizer, first, second and dessert courses. This first-time experience has made us want to take a similar tour in other centres in the future.

We did a private wine country tour with Francesco in October 2019 (it has taken me entirely too long to write this review). We had a great time with Francesco. He is so personable and was so much fun to spend the day with. Ask him to tell you the story of why there are black roosters on Chianti Classico wine bottles. Francesco is very professional, was able to accommodate a change in plans based on our preferences, and delivered top-notch service throughout the day. If (when) we go back to Florence, we will be giving Francesco a call!

Our guide Sara was wonderful and very thoughtful. She went out of her way to make sure everyone in our group of 8 was comfortable and having a good time. She also went out her way for food restrictions and ensuring those with special dietary requirements felt included. The food was delicious and plentiful so come hungry! Thanks for a great time and experience.

This tour was so so good. Our tour guide Angelo was amazing. He knew everything there was to know and was able to answer any and all questions brought up to him even if they were about things not related to the tour exhibitions. It was worth seeing both the Uffizi and the Accademia. There were no lines to skip due to the covid-19 situation as we took this tour a week before things got shut down but I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to florence as it is not only a tour of the two big galleries but also a small city walking tour.
