It was a cold evening in Zaragoza but we made the best of our stroll through part of old town and “el tubo”. This is a great way to experience the culture of the city and we loved seeing people out enjoying the holiday with friends and family. We enjoyed tapas at an excellently curated list of places with great wine choices. We also had a chance to make our own selection at a few places which I really appreciated. Highly recommended tour! Jorge shared his love of the city and gastronomy with us and left us with some tips of more places to explore - which we will!

Bodega Pirineos is one of the some wineries located in Somontano Region, in Aragon, in the North of Spain. We visited it because I like very much 3404 red wine (3404m is the altitude of Aneto Mountain, the highest peak in Iberian Peninsula). Here, we could do a guided visit in harvest time (9th of September) and it really was very interesting, also the staff was very friendly with us (thank you, it was a great visit!). After the visit we could taste some wines, in fact we could taste all wines that we wanted, really it was an exceptional tasting moment with a local cheeses and cured sausages. In fact, in all travel we decided only taste wines of this winery. A top in Somontano Region.

The Albaicin and Sacromonte walking tour is a must for a visit to Granada. The views of the city from this location are incredible. Our tour guide was Josh. He was very knowledgable about the history of the area and his English was excellent. The only issue was that he walked very fast. We asked him if he could slow down a bit. This tour has many stairs and going up hill was very strenuous. You really have to be in great shape to do it. One of my friends has compromised lungs and it was very difficult for her. Going a bit more slowly would have helped. He did wait for us, however at each stop. He did not leave us where we left from, although it was close. We knew where we were but there were a couple of young gals who had no idea. All in all, it was worth the time and money.

10:00 DAYTIME I propose an adventure through the southern steppe of Zaragoza, traveling through very peculiar landscapes and above all, full of life! It is a simple itinerary, but the difference is that the itinerary is only one way - just like the bicycle - the objective of this experience is to learn to identify flowers, shrubs and birds. On the surface, the surroundings of Zgz, except for the groves, seem hostile, inhospitable and almost lifeless ... but nothing is what it seems. There are ravines with water, with so much vegetation that it is impossible to pass; there are pine forests, cliffs, some maple trees, mastic trees ... 20:00 (NIGHT, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) | Here everything changes, we share an hour of botany but from there, it is an orientation exercise through a place that at night is totally different. We make stops to listen to birds and bats.

Inclusions: Itinerary guide with identification keys and maps

Exclusions: Private transportation, Bottled water, Snacks, FRONT FLASHLIGHT (only in the NIGHT option), MANDATORY HELMET

An interesting tour and wine tasting that we would have benefitted more from if there was information in English. But I'd recommend anyway, the guide was really friendly despite the language barrier and the fact we didn't arrive on time. Good value at 5 euros.

We will start our adventure and travel in time. We will relive distant times in which Moorish and Christian peoples coexisted and fought on the frontier. You will get to know the thrilling and tragic story of the Lovers of Teruel: an authentic Spanish love tale which happened 350 years before Shakespeare wrote Romeo & Juliet. We will discover the Mudéjar architecture which is World Heritage and the fruit of the meeting of civilizations in Teruel. Hidden among the mountains, we will storm the defiant walled town of Albarracín; majestic, proud and independent. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful villages in Europe. Erected on a rock and protected by a river, it offers a portal into another time.

Amir is incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, ask any questions on the history of the region, he has an answer. Firstly we followed Roman tracks on road level, then went underground, where, naturally, one expects to see Roman relics. Our trip on the bus and into Sagunta was enjoyable, especially with the ordered tapas at Jesùs' bar to look forward to. A climb up to the restored theatre and on to the castle was a little strenuous, but only if you had Tarancino with the snacks! Back down steep, narrow lanes, through the ancient Jewish quarter, to the bus. All in all, an informativ outing and money well spent. Highly recommended!
