Management doesn't care
Reviewed By pmcreynoldsHorrible management. Upon arrival our quarters had not been cleaned. We found old food in the refrigerator and underwear in the furniture. One mosquito net over the bed was filthy. Towels and kitchen cloths that were supposedly clean had food and other (unknown) stains. After several requests the staff resolved most issues(it took 24 hours to get another mosquito net and fix our door that didn't lock), but a request to speak to the manager/owner was never acknowledged. I saw him at breakfast and politely asked if he was aware of our problems, and he refused to talk to me, instead telling one of his staff to talk to me and handle it. His staff apologized that he couldn't talk to us because he was a very busy man and had other jobs. However, the owner was present in the property hanging out with his friends, and not once did he try to talk to us. The attitude of management is simply that they don't care if you have a problem or not. If you need internet during your stay do not count on it working here. Very on and off internet signal. More off than on. Bring plenty of bug spray. If you don't you will get eaten up by bugs inside and outside the rooms. Also, the beds don't have any "fitted" sheets. It's just a simple sheet on top of the mattress that barely covers the mattress, so during the night it comes undone and you end up on top of the bare mattress. It's a "pet friendly" hotel, which is great, but each morning we had dog and cat poop right outside our door. It was only cleaned late in the morning when we asked. The only positive I can give is the breakfast staff does a great job with the food and selection, and the value of the breakfast is good.

Reviewed By Elaine RGreat cabin, great food and great breakfast. This is a 5 star place to stay. We stayed at the two level cabine and we were very happy with our choice. Quiet place and 5 minutes from the beaches and all restaurants. I highly recommend.

Reviewed By Tammy WThe location is great The grounds are beautiful, the swimming pool is big and in front of your room The rooms in the other hand could be more taken care off The shower leaks out and the entire bathroom gets flooded The mattress could be more comfortable Doors and walls need a paint job The toilets does not flush so well AC works great I got a bangalô 2 rooms and bathroom upstairs and 1 room and bathroom with a small leaving room downstairs The staff is very friendly The Main Street with stores are right in front of the hotel Beach just 5 minutes walk and 20 steps down Breakfast is good Hotel very rustic but serves it purpose

Reviewed By Valevale73La Reserve is the best place in town !! The villa is elegant fully furnished and comfortable!! . The location is absolutely perfect to reach beaches and nightlife! And if you want to relax after a day in the sun you can enjoy the private pool , the hammocks on the terrace and the patio! The owners are available 24hours to help with everything (taxi , tours and tips for dinner). I’ll be back soon ! Saudade.....

Reviewed By Christine LThis was our second stay and as enjoyable as the first. Delightful gardens and comfortable chalet bedrooms plus helpful friendly staff. Very peaceful yet just a few miles from the hurly burly of Pipa. We got a taxi into Pipa every evening to enjoy the excellent restaurants so we had the best of both worlds.
