Reviewed By claudioironEverything is good in this place! The houses, the reception, the people. The rooms are thematic with famous movies and every morning has a big breakfast!! The bathroom is big and has a hot tub! The managers are very lovely and help us in everything during the stay!

The city was not the safest place to spend that day and I decided to go to the countryside. In the morning I texted on WhatsApp with Hacienda La Danesa contact person and a very welcoming coordinator arrange an afternoon airport pick up for me, booked a room and explained that cacao tour, river tubing, chocolate making experience and breakfast are included in the rate. The experience was beyond amazing, my stable room was a pure luxury and I was welcomed by a personal host Yvonne with deep care, she made my stay amazing beyond my expectations! The cacao plantation experience was so interesting, I’ve never seen anything like that before. If anyone wants to see true Ecuador, Hacienda La Danesa is a must-visit place!

Reviewed By AHR RWe traveled for a long weekend from Brazil, and stayed in the Yurt. It was lovely, cozy, and immaculate. The people that work there are incredibly kind and generous and we did not want for anything. It was a perfect distance to downtown Puerto Varas, and an easy trip to explore the volcanoes and the water falls. We had our own private hot tub, and access to our own barbecue. It was tranquil and wonderful, I would go back again! It was a slice of heaven.

Reviewed By Elaine RGreat cabin, great food and great breakfast. This is a 5 star place to stay. We stayed at the two level cabine and we were very happy with our choice. Quiet place and 5 minutes from the beaches and all restaurants. I highly recommend.

Reviewed By Silvia CWe couldn't have pick a better place to stay. The room was clean & comfortable. Since it's a small hotel, you can enjoy the pool without any crowd. Every part of the pousada is perfectly maintained. Also, Hugo & Marcia are great hosts, the airline lost our baggage and since we can't speak portuguese, he made several calls to claim in our name, they even gave us clothes to use and they took care of receiving our luggage when the airline sent it by taxi. Breakfast fresh on demand, you have to try Marcia's scrambled eggs! Last, the beach is nearby and the location is excellent if you are looking for a quiet neighborhood, I'm a really light sleeper and I slept like a baby here!

Reviewed By Tulio LService was very attentive. Staff was also well qualified and the food is a must try. Location is also perfect. Right at the heart of Carneiros. Look for Girlene. She'll certainly care for all you need with impeccable attention. We got married there and could not be happier. (Of course, choosing the right person played a very big part hahahah)

Reviewed By eallen2020Very lovely hostel the personnel work very hard to insure a great stay. Nice clean dorms fans during the day but air conditioning all night. Cafe de amanha with fruits juices and many kinds of cakes tapioca eggs ham and cheese. Lovely kitchen staff. Most reception staff spoke another language and were knowkegeable about transport and local tourist information. Cool areas to chill throughout the property.

Every day was so gorgeous with those panaoramic views of the valley and mountains. Even when it was raining, the clouds kissed the mountain tops, when it was sunny, the clouds floated above like angelic spirits. I can't believe what one man (and great team) has done with such a large piece of land. What vision! Thoughtful touches, recycled mosaic art, quirky art installations, game room, wellness center, plenty of wide open spaces to walk, practice yoga, play with kids, etc. Would highly recommend. 10/10. Great wifi signal in most spaces in the common areas of the property.

Reviewed By MaxyOz2017This Hotel has the potiential to be excellent, however the owner is renting the hotel to a local lady it seems there has been no upkeep in the rooms or bathroom for the last decade (see pictures attached). Mold everywhere, dirty floors, tiles missing from the bathroom, intense ant infestation,.....everything that this hotel does not deserve. We tried to give our feedback to the lady renting the hotel, however she was extremely aggressive, rude and cynical with her responses and said there is many places to stay in the city and if we are not happy we should find somewhere else to stay. The positives is that they do have some great staff working there and the pool and view is excellent.
