Skagen Strand is a holiday centre with 142 spacious and light holiday houses. The houses are inspired by the well-known architecture of Skagen and built from the best natural materials. We offer lots of free facilities such as indoor pool-area, miniature golf, tennis, badminton, playgrounds and more. The beautiful and child friendly Hulsig Beach is within walking distance from the holidaycenter. The area has the best conditions for hiking and bike rides. The train station is a few hundred meters from our main entrance and within 12 minutes you are in Skagen town. By bike it is a 12 km ride and you can bring your bike by train if you want to. From Skagen Strand holidaycenter you have easy access to a lot of attractions in our area.
Nice holiday center with activities
Reviewed By Meliora_dkOur room was very clean which we appreciate very much and despite its from the 80's everything was in good shape. We liked the beds and the furniture. Some of the activities are a little worn down, but everything works - so not very important. We used the badminton facility a lot. We did not use the play grounds and swimming pool. Location is good, close to Skagen city and Ålbæk. We did a lot of biking and the bike paths are very good. All the employees was polite and friendly to us. We would like to come back another time.

God stop over destination
Reviewed By braeraaVi havde en enkelt overnatning - fine og rummelige lejligheder. Det ligger lige ved golfklubben og fiskesøen. Vi bestilte morgenmad i Golfrestauranten og take away om aftenen som vi nød ved picnic området ved fiskesøen.

Reviewed By Sabrina SB&B immerso nel verde nella prima periferia di Copenhagen (a circa 15 minuti dal centro con i mezzi pubblici, comodi e molto vicini all'abitazione). La proprietaria è squisita e gentilissima e ti fornisce tantissimi utili consigli. La stanza grande e molto ricercata, bagno super pulito in comune con le altre due stanze (ma noi eravamo da soli dunque era solo nostro). Ampia cucina super attrezzata a disposizione degli ospiti. Da non perdere!!

Cute, Peaceful Farm Cottage with All Amenities
Reviewed By LoveToTraveIAlthough we only stayed for a weekend, we loved this cute little cottage located on a family farm near both Skallerup and Hjørring and will definitely be back! Jytte, the host, is extremely welcoming and charming, and lives in the adjacent farmhouse with her family. The cottage is spacious and has all the amenties you would need to make your stay comfortable, including a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. They also provide coffee and tea, sugar, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The welcome basket with a bottle of wine, chocolate and some goodies was very thoughtful. There are toys and games for the kids, but the best were the two very friendly cats who come and greet you each morning. The back pasture directly behind the house gives you a pleasant view of their milking cows. If you have kids, you are approximately a 5 minute drive from Skallerup Seaside Resort. For a fee, you will be allowed to use the indoor swimming pool, bowling alley and a large indoor gym/play area. There is a spa and an outdoor area that includes trampolines, a balancing course, tennis courts and a large playground. It is also close to the beach. Hjørring is about a 15 minute drive.

Reviewed By OnAir234659The apartments appears old and run-down. Staff rude. Not enough hot water for 4 people to shower. Cabinet doors in kitchen broken. Bathroom filthy. Playground consists of 1 slide and 1 bouncing pillow. Expensive for what you get. Will not recommed.

One night in jelling
Reviewed By ZebzogWe spent one night in this family run B and B they where very welcoming and the rooms nice and clean. We had a room for 3/4 so loads of room for 2. Down side shared bath room which is a bit of a pain as it service 3 rooms and no mirror in the room so if you could use the bath room to sort your hair you have to wait. Breakfast was good and nicely done and all in all a very nice place for one night.

Reviewed By flippflopp76An OK place for a vacation for families with children. Nice surroundings, great nature, and close to a lot of places to visit in Jylland and northern Germany. The vacation houses are built some 30+ years ago, and are a bit worn down, but otherwise this serves as an affordable and cosy hub for your stay in this part of Denmark.

Semesterboende bland myror och kryp.
Reviewed By marinasigridVi hade bokat ett hus med 3 sovrum. När vi kom dit fick vi ett med 2 sovrum. Det luktade riktigt fuktigt och mögligt. Standarden var låg, gammalt och slitet. Det va inte bra städat. Myror och andra småkryp efter golv och tak. Ingen Micro eller Tv. Alldeles för dyrt med tanke på vad man fick. När man kom hem var man tvungen att tvätta ALLT då det luktade unket, även det som bara legat i väskorna. Plus i kanten för ägaren, han var trevlig och hade en fin hund. Barnen hade en stor gräsmatta att leka på och studsmatta och pool.

Mellem gode dage er gode nætter. I Villa Gertrud får du lidt andet og mere end et traditionelt B&B. Huset fremstår venligt og blev oprindelig opført som et Sømandshjem. Værelserne er personligt indrettede og flere kommer med eget bad og tekøkken. Bo eksempelvis på Flower Power værelset eller den Grå Emminence. Et rummeligt fælleskøkken står til gæsters disposition ligesom terrassen byder velkommen med siddegrupper og mulighed for at grille. Du bor med byens å-miljø til gården og fjorden til gaden. Hvad enten du kommer med tog, bul eller cykel så ligger oplevelserne som perler på en snor; vi er tæt på noget du med garanti gerne vil opleve. P-hus indenfor 150 m’s afstand. Banegården: 200 m. Strand: 2 km. Koldinghus: 400 m. Trapholt: 4 km. Hos Villa Gertrud B&B kan I koble af når du har brug for det eller få en snak med mig, som husets værtinde. Jeg kender området som min egen bukselomme og fortæller gerne om mulighederne ud fra netop dine præferencer.
Good value for money
Reviewed By LeahSephiraLocation was very close to both Kolding station and Kolding city center. The location itself was in a more industrial area (the harbor is just across the street too) and there is a busy road right next to the house. However, you are provided earplugs that are in your room when you arrive, so that's all fine. Personally I didn't need the earplugs, but my boyfriend did. If you want to have a window open when you sleep you DEFINITELY need earplugs as the road and seagulls are quite loud. The house itself was old but in good condition and our room was nice, basically as we expected. It is a basic room with exactly the facilities you need. There were some dead flies in a lamp in our bathroom and some cobweb in the ceiling, but a part from that it was clean. The house is quite "loud" inside too meaning that you can easily hear people walking around and talking, but again you have the earplugs to help with that. We only stayed a night so we didn't mind. The host was very kind and accommodating and I generally really recommend this bed and breakfast. DO keep in mind that you have to pay extra for the breakfast, which I don't really think makes sense as it's called a "bed and breakfast" it should be included with the room price. We decided to walk to a nearby bakery the following morning and have breakfast there instead, cheaper and also cozy to sit in a local bakery! :)

Nostalgisk B&B beliggende i rolige omgivelser med stor have og orangeri. Hyggelige fællesområder. Vi har sæson fra 1. juni til 1. september og minimum 2 overnatninger.
Comfortable and welcoming structure
Reviewed By Guido MIt took us a moment to fall in love with Lokken also thanks to Villa Vendel, where every detail is taken care of and you have a feeling of home. Mitzi also gives a great contribution with her courtesy and her smile when welcomes guests in this cozy facility convenient to all services and a short walk from the beautiful beach.
