We used Royal Cars twice while in Mexico City. We booked the tour to the butterfly preserve with them. I expected that we would just have a driver, knowing that a guide couldn't go up the mountain with us to see the butterflies anyway. But a guide, Joaquin, who spoke excellent English showed up along with the driver (who didn't speak English). Joaquin told us a lot about Mexico City on the way out of town. When we arrived at the preserve, he hired the horses for us and make sure that the local guides knew that they should give us as much time as we wanted at the top of the mountain. Joaquin gave us information about how much to tip the local guides and we followed his advice. The driver was a safe driver. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We also used Royal Cars to take us to the airport. The only problem here was that the driver came 1/2 hour before I was told to expect him. But we were ready when the hotel desk called us, so it was fine. I recommend Royal Cars for your transportation needs in Mexico City. It certainly beats driving in that traffic nightmare!

We spent two days with Alex on a private tour in Mexico City. One day was a city tour and the second day was a tour of Teotihuacan His knowledge of history, archeology and local colors is wonderful. We highly recommend his services and plan to contact him the next time we are in Mexico City.

We used SMARide for transportation from Mexico Airport to San Miguel de Allende. Fernando met us at the airport, and demonstrated courtesy, professionalism, and safety throughout our journey to San Miguel. We were so happy with the service that we subsequently arranged transportation with SMARide for a two day visit to Agangueo to visit the Monarch butterflies. Fernando is a very professional driver, and we felt completely at ease with him at the wheel.

Cesar is just the best and I highly recommend him. He took me from San Miguel to Leon Airport (BJX) and the trip was smooth and quick despite some issues with the roads due to floooding. He is a native of the area so he knows all the routes. I can also attest that Cesar is trustworthy, knowledgable, friendly, courteous and a great conversation. His English is great which was helpful for me. My in-laws have lived in San Miguel for years and have known Cesar and his wife (who works for them) for years. I have not done a tour with Cesar but am certain he is a great guide given my experience with him and my family’s contact with him. Great English, great conversation and a person who knows the area very well. Highly recommend all around.
