We book this trip last month through Pininos adventures and they pick up at Tamarindo Diria ,our tour guide Daniel was excellent and funny ,carlos and Daniel keep us with full energy the whole tour and safe. We highly recommend this tour company and this adventures for any ones ( family with kids and senior )

We booked a private excursion with Pininos for the Mega tour - Ziplining, Horse backriding and then white water tubing. With 4 teens it is hard to "thrill" them but we had a great time on this excursion. We booked "private" because we did not want to share a van with anyone else or stop at multiple hotels to pick up people - since we are 6 people this worked out great for us. The Ziplining is done back and forth over a river canyon and there are 8 ziplines. There is an opportunity to repel down a wall and climb back up after the ziplines but only our youngest (13) elected to do that activity due to the heat (the rest of us watched). The horse back ride was about 30 minutes and brought us to the river. The tubing was refreshing and you sit in a tub with a seat - warning here that this has lots of rapids and a waterfall that you go over - perfect for my 13, 15, 17 and 17 year old teens. We had multiple guides in the river who were keeping everyone safe - it was exciting but you never felt in danger. (If you have small children you should work with Pininos to see how this is handled because the waterfall drop is about 7 feet). At the end of the tubing you have lunch and then a short walk to the hotsprings for a soak. IT was a blast and I would highly recommend Pininos - they made sure that everything ran smoothly for us. On the way home they stopped at Walmart at our request so we could shop for drinks and misc. An adventure to thrill 4 teens that parents also enjoyed is worth the money. Thanks Pininos!

During the first day, you will watch some diving videos and practice basic diving skills in the pool with your instructor. On the second day, you will discover the wonderful underwater fauna of Costa Rica in 2 open water dives while applying everything learned in the first day. And, on the last day, you will do the last 2 dives and take the final exam, thus consolidating everything seen before.

Franco was great putting the dive together and making sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. Franco set me up with Chris (dive master) and the day was fantastic. Chris was able to tell who in the group needed a little more attention and reassurance and those who were doing just fine. We had a great day of diving that included a handful of white tip reef sharks, eels, a couple octopus, sea turtle, and a huge manta ray that swam with us for 20+ minutes at the end of our first dive. Also, never had such a great follow-up after the dive by Franco, making sure everything went well. And a wonderful surprise later in the day of free photos and video taken on the dive sent via what's app. Great bonus making this the best and most affordable dive I've ever been on. Great gear too!

We booked an ATV and snorkeling tour with Carlos and it was so much fun. He picked us up at our hotel, brought us to his location and we rode semi-automatic ATVs about 45 minutes to a secluded beach (we were the only ones there). Provided us with snorkeling gear and we snorkeled for about 40 minutes. The fish and sites were stunning. We then rode back and he deposited us back at the hotel. Don’t plan on going anywhere after your ride unless you don’t mind being dirty. You get SUPER dusty on the ATVs.

Eduardo of "Wanna Ride" took us on a day trip with this tour being the highlight. We shared a boat with another couple and their guide who was educated as a wildlife biologist and very enthusiastic about Costa Rica and it's Natural Beauty. We saw many crocodiles. Some were over 10 feet long. The Capuchin white faced monkeys were way cool to and very leery of the crocs. We had many different species of birds pointed out as well as a colony of short nosed bats that were roosted on the underside of a tree. Our boat pilot was amazing getting us smoothly into and out of spots to enhance the quality of our observation. We also got a brief glimpse of scarlet macaw in flight. As are many of the best things in Costa Rica, this tour begins at the end of a dirt road!

Don’t plan on going anywhere after your ride unless you don’t mind being dirty. You get SUPER dusty on the ATVs.

Spent a week in Playa Potrero and I kept seeing ATV tours rolling through town. I really wanted to check it out. I had never been on an ATV before. I had asked around some locals who lived in the area and I kept hearing them tell me to book with this company. They were right, the owner Justin is a super hands on and makes sure all his ATV's are in perfect shape, clean, and ready to go. I got great instructions on how to drive an ATV and felt comfortable on my first trip ever. Highly recommend for ATV tours or anything else you need while in Potrero.
