We recently had a private cooking class with Patrizia. She was warm and welcoming from our first meeting in the piazza. She first took us to some shops near her home to buy ingredients for our class. We then cooked with her in her cozy loft and made the most delicious dishes. Patrizia is very knowledgeable and talented on all things wine, food and Sicilian. We definitely feel as if we have made a new friend in Sicily.

Booked a Street Food Tour for our first evening in Palermo which turned out to be an excellent evening, extending for nearly four entertaining hours. Impressed with the tour administration which involved WhatsApp messages which provided details of our tour guide and meeting point. Our host was Arianna who an excellent communicator and provided many interesting details of the city and it's history. However the main driver was the food and Arianna took us to five varied and interesting food establishments all with different offerings, tastes and ambiences. Our favourites were Nni Franco u Vastiddaru (which revisited for a lunchtime snack latter in our stay in Palermo) and Antica Focceria San Francesco. Various interesting delicious delicacies were experienced including Pane Con La Milza, Arancina, Sfincione, Cannolo and of course Granita All in all a great tour with an informative guide which literateraly gave a great flavour of the city.

I recently had the pleadure of attending one of Fulvio's fabulous lunches here in the heart of Palermo. A glorious day spent exploring the markets for local healthy delicious food. Fulvio knew all the best places to buy the finest cheese. The finest vegetables, meat and wines. Once we had finished af the market we brought all the ingredients back to his welcoming and comfortable home and began cooking lunch. Fulvio is a fantastic guide and cook and under his supervision we prepared a starter of stuffed artichoke filled with garlic and a wonderful local green vegetable similar to spinach. Oil and lemon on top. Delicious. We cooked frittata and ate some perfectly cooked cauliflower. We then prepared a very sicilian pasta dish with cauliflower, raisins and breadcrumbs. Then we ate fish with a chilli garlic and lemon dressing. Divine.. we finished our meal off with tiramisu and some fine italian liquers and coffee. There was an abundance of wine and a delightful group of tourists from berlin, australia and siberia. The day was relaxed and sociable and very enjoyable. We were regaled with tales of sicilian life and Fulvio was the perfect host keeping us entertained and well fed and our wine glasses topped up. Highly recommend this course as a great introduction to sicilian cooking and getting to know a little more about the culture of this amazing city. Thank you Fulvio

My wife and I were planning a trip to Italy. My wife decided to setup a 3 day tour of Sicily where her family came from. She contacted Roberta and shared some family information with her. The idea was to visit Erice area and a little town of Valerice where my wife's family came from. Roberta picked us up at our hotel in Palermo and our way to Erice area she did a great job telling us about the region and the history. During time from when my wife initially contacted Roberta, she took it upon herself to do some research about my wife's family to the point of making contact with some of my wife's relatives. During the ride from Palermo to Erice area Roberta announced that she had made contact with the family and we were to meet them that day. Needless to say my wife and I were very excited to hear this news. We drove to my wife's relatives home in Valerice and they welcomed us in with open arms. Never meeting these people before and not being able to speak their language was a little intimidating. Roberta to the rescue, she was able to act as our translator and we had a terrific visit. My wife's relatives then took us to the church Santuario Maria S.S. della Misericordia in Valerice which all of family attended and were baptized in. The church was built in 1637 and is still in terrific shape. Roberta then took us on a tour of Erice and Trapani. She did an excellent job and I would recommend her services highly. Roberta acted as our tour guide, helped with genealogy, acted as a translator, and even a doctor when my wife started feeling ill when we rode the tram up to Erice. My wife and I can't say enough good things about Roberta Teresi.

We had the great pleasure of booking a self-guided bike tour of the southeastern portion of Sicily through Ciclabili Siciliane. It isn't easy to find a tour company that suits your personality and your budget, but for us, this was it. Danuta was responsive, patient, and helpful from the start. She customized our itinerary, answered a million questions, and consistently made us feel like we had entrusted our holiday to the right company. That would prove to be true; we enjoyed the routes, the accommodations (a mix of small-to-mid-sized hotels and B&Bs), the restaurant/attraction recommendations, and even, grudgingly, the app. The bikes were super-clean and well-maintained (thank you, Giovanni). They went above and beyond by rescuing a lost item and having it delivered it to our next hotel and indulging our want of a bit more sightseeing time in Siracusa. Our only regret was that we could not have spent more days and visited more of the smaller villages, but the siren song of the Aeolians was too powerful. We wish them great success but hope they forever maintain that personal touch. Grazie mille, Danuta + Giovanni!

We booked the Santa Margherita and Portofino tour during the same cruise where we also booked Roma, Marseilles and Palermo. We have decided to do that at that time because we wanted to take advantage of the opportunities a cruise can give you, which is having dinner and sleep on the boat then wake up the next day in a different city and discover that city, and boy we were right: Especially that we were advised and served by Tour Travel and More, which have been proving, once again to us, that they are so passionate about their business that they oversees your expectations. The tour was excellent and our guide again was very passionate and knowledgeable together with the comfort and cleanliness of the car. Inclusive at a point in time, the road was closed because of a small landslide, and the driver together with our guide proposed a different activity in order not having to wait. We had a wonderful time and felt at all times overwhelmed by all the attention and the kindness of the staff. Thank you again

We took the Wonders of Palermo walking tour through the historic centre of the city. By far the best way to get to know and become familiar with the long history of the city. The tour guide was excellent, who has deep insight into Sicily’s complex historical and contemporary issues. Great unhurried way to explore the city. Highly recommended
