Zak was INCREDIBLE! Without him there, we would of missed out on SO much! The road isn’t too sketchy to drive yourself but without his knowledge, passion and wisdom on the trip, we wouldn’t of seen everything we did! This is our honeymoon and he made it the best experience we’ve ever had! This will be something we will never forget and it’s all because of the incredible job done by Epic Maui Hikes and Zak! Already recommended them to my family and will send everyone I know their way! They are so humble, great, cool people that are so genuine and truly love what they do. Wouldn’t go with any other touring company. Wish we could give more then 5 stars!

Epic Road to Hana Waterfall Adventure The way to hike and see the falls as the locals do! My husband and I were the only ones on the tour (social distancing score). We are not experienced hikers and Noah helped us navigate the terrain. He helped me overcome my fear of water and I was able to swim under the waterfalls! I would definitely recommend water shoes since we were hiking through some muddy areas. If I could give Noah 10 stars we would!

Demian was an amazing tour guide. He definitely gave us our money’s worth and catered the day to what we wanted to do. He also made amazing suggestions that took us to some sights that are well off the beaten path, where all the tourists are, like the petroglyphs. He made our “delayed” honeymoon a trip that we won’t forget. My wife’s only request was to see sea turtles without having tosnorkelkng for them, he knew right where to find them. I would suggest this tour for anyone who wants to see the island. Thank you Demian for the experience you gave to me and my wife. We appreciate it!

This is a good and inexpensive way to do the Haleakala sunset tour with audio narrative of things to see along the way to the mountain top. Good value for the price. A quick tip: this app burns through your phone battery fast so having a car phone cable is a must or else your phone battery will run out of juice pretty quick...

Our tour was an amazing experience from beginning to end!! It was our first time in Maui and we throughly enjoyed learning about all the sites and details the tour guides provided! Doug and Everett were so knowledgeable about all the scenery and and made the trip even better since they are locals from the area. I would highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed!!

Great tour! The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and made it feel not only welcoming, but vey authentic. It was a great way to learn about the history and culture of Maui and get deeper than just the beauty of the island. It was a smart decision to take this tour versus driving it because there were soooooo many curves that it would have been nerve wrecking to drive ourselves; however we were in very good hands during the tour! The rainforest is beautiful and although it is a long day, a breakfast of banana bread, fresh pineapple and a hot drink was provided for breakfast, a decent lunch was included and they gave us a little gift bag upon arrival. We even made a stop at Doug’s (one of the guides) childhood home which just made it seem even more authentic. Overall if you’re looking to do the Hana road tour, I’d highly recommend Hawaiian Style Tours! They treat you like family!

Aloha! If you are wondering if you should spend a whole day of your vacation to do this tour the answer is YES, ABSOLUTELY! This tour is absolutely incredible! You will see waterfalls, gorgeous trees, greenery, flowers, beautiful beaches, a bamboo forest, and so much more! Our guide was Ana and she is AMAZING! She is so personable and friendly and funny and kind! I have been on many, many tours from Greece to Brazil to India to Germany and tons of places in between and this is by far one of the BEST TOURS I'VE EVER BEEN ON BECAUSE ANA IS SIMPLY AN INCREDIBLE GUIDE. We did the Road to Hana with Tom and it was such an amazing day. Tom was a fantastic guide, a great and super interesting guy to spend the day with, so knowledgeable about everything we asked him, and was he was totally focused on customizing our day to be exactly what we wanted. He went above and beyond and my husband and I were so impressed and so happy we did this! We knew at the end of the day that if my husband and I had tried to drive it ourselves, we could never have been so relaxed and happy all day, and my husband would not have been able to enjoy the spectacular scenery. If you go to Maui, you MUST do the road to Hana with Hoaloha Jeep Adventures, and definitely ask for Tom. It really will be one of the best vacation decisions you’ve ever made.
