I had a great experience with Ace the Himalaya on April 2021. I was inicially looking for a female guide, being a solo female traveler, but when I couldn’t find one, I talked to Sajiya, from the Ace the Himalaya office and she assured me I wouldn’t have any issues with one of their guides. She was able to arrange for the trek to start the very next day and everything went smoothly. Both Madan, my guide, and Pream, our porter, were great and really professional. Pream made sure I always had a room with a great view and Madan was informative and attentive. We were lucky with the weather, and the pandemic, and made it safely to base camp and back, with amazing views along the way. I’m sure I wouldn’t have made it without their assistance. Madan even helped me get a flight to Pokhara right after the end of our trek and kept track of me when the pandemic started to worsen in Nepal. I had to cut my travels in the country short, but at least my whole experience on the EBC trek was perfect, much thanks to Ace the Himalaya, which I highly recommend.

The best few weeks of my life!!! Doing this trek during the strange times of COVID was always going to be tough but Prakash was so helpful and between us we designed a custom trek that included all the places I wanted to see and visit. I met my guide ( Bir Kaji) at Lukla and we had a great time together; he spoke good English and we shared lots of laughs! He helped a lot as a number of guesthouses were shut due to winter/COVID and ended the hike as friends. If you are thinking of hiking anywhere in the Himalayas look no further than Prime Himalayas!!
