Tours are conducted by licensed Coast Guard Captains who know the history of the area and the wildlife that abound. Two hour narrated tours depart from Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina. Tours are operated every day except Monday and Tuesday, and depart at 10AM and 1PM. The Tour is a nature lover's paradise. You will see alligators, anhinga osprey, Great Egrets, Ibis, Great Blue Heron, turtles, frequent sightings of manatee, and much more. On part of the trip, you will see the Old Florida in the same pristine condition it has been over the centuries. There will be pauses for photos and discussion of the wildlife encountered.
