A group of 8 of us came all the way from Wisconsin to Idaho Springs and had a blast ziplining with Martina and Otter! Thank you guys so much for making us laugh, keeping us confident, and most importantly ensuring we were safe! I am extremely scared of heights but they made sure I had fun! Thanks again. We did a half day float trip on the Colorado River in late September. Our guide, Victoria, was wonderful. She pointed out birds, animals, and other unusual sightings. While the water levels were low, she did all she could to still make the trip both enjoyable and exciting. The fall scenery was spectacular! AVA took their Covid precautions seriously, so we never felt unsafe. They also offered a great cancellation policy in case of inclement weather - which we were fortunate not to need. The facility was very well laid out. They provided bathrooms, dressing rooms, a vending machine, and a nice selection of clothing and souvenirs. We will definitely book another excursion the next time we are in CO, probably a full day trip.

From the first phone call to Evan and multiple calls due to the historic snowstorm speaking with Isabella and ultimately with John, I give this company a true 5 stars for professionalism and understanding the true nature of skiing and customer service. The owner Christopher was our tech in person at the lodge and fitted us all with many tips on skiing and what to look for and to make our experience the best. My helmet was a bit too big for my head and with one phone call to Isabella, we had a tech within 20 minutes with several adult and kid sizes. They really want you to be properly equipped because it is all about safety. That is Black Tie Skis Rentals mission. They actually went above and beyond when we got into trouble with AS (Altitude sickness) and was grounded for the remainder of the trip. One call to BTSR, John, and they came right out picked everything up and offered every effort to amend the trip and make us feel welcomed and truly looked out for. I will always book directly with Black Tie Ski Rentals, Breckenridge.

You can't beat a company that arrives at your hotel, fits the whole family and returns to pick up the equipment when all your skiing is done. The techs were knowledgeable, friendly and answered any questions we had about the area. The techs even returned later in the morning at the mountain when one of my daughters had an issue with her binding. Problem solved within fifteen minutes. Our next issue was the inability to obtain a reservation due to COVID occupancy limits on the mountain and couldn't ski a second day. I emailed the owner, Chris, and he offered us credit for our next visit or a refund because the original rental was for two days. What a great way to treat customers! We'll always use them in the future!

We took our parents to the mine while they were visiting from the Bay Area. We had a fantastic tour with Keith that was informational and fun and went further into the mine than we expected! Highly recommend!

Axe throwing is like Darts ...on STEROIDS! It is also similar to Bowling as it is a social activity. It is such a wow, fun, empowering activity that can be enjoyed by anyone over 10 years old. We make it safe, and fun and you will have a blast with us!
