Located on the beachfront, 2 km from Porto de Galinhas center, Pousada Ecoporto is perfect for a break, with swimming pool and a beautiful sea view of Porto de Galinhas. It is a hostel for people who love beach. Featuring a sea-view pool and free WiFi throughout, the property features a massage room, an à la carte restaurant and breakfast included. Rooms at Pousada Ecoporto feature air conditioning, flat-screen cable TV with 12 channels, minibar and safe. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer. We have an apartment about two blocks away and visited the first time about a week ago. The food was good, the service decent and we were anxious to go back, which we did this evening. Yes, it is Christmas evening, but this is not a big deal in Brazil. In a restaurant, open to the public, with seating for about 75 - 80, there was only one other couple, when our party of 5 entered. There appeared to be only one server on duty. We had to get up and find the server to: - order beverages - order an appatizer - check on the status of the drinks after 25 minutes - return one of the drinks because it was not just warm, but hot - check on the status of the appetizer after 20 minutes - seek assistance with one order that was short 2 side orders listed on the menu when the food finally came, about 40 minutes after ordering. - ask for the bill The food was OK, but I suspect most Brazilians would have left - our kids were tired and hungry, and we opted to tough it out. I've lived in, worked in and visited Brazil for almost 20 years and have been to innumerable restaurants. This was absolutely the worst service experience I've had. We declined paying the pre-billed service charge on the bill. I am sure, from the reviews and the crowds I see at the pousada, that it is a great place, but tonight had the rest of my family reminding me to get on Trip Advisor as soon we hit the door. I've written other reviews (2 or 3 maybe) and I have tried to be fair, as I have tried to be this evening - I have no axe to grind. I would urge potential customers to take a look around for other options in the neighborhood before risking your time, money and patience at the Ecoporto restaurant.

Reviewed By fhibfExcellent experience. We stayed for 5 days and spent the entire time in the resort. Food is good. Cleanness is good. Accommodations are good. Staff is amazing: very polite and open to support. There are some kayaks we took to browse the coast side of the resort. Great experience. During the day the resort serves some snacks to help your stay around the swimming pool. In summary, the staff makes your stay very easy. It’s a stress free place. If you are looking for a place to stay and recharge, that’s the choice.

They have a lot of activities for kids, a playground and waterpark for kids, shows/plays for kids to perform and free ice cream cups! Also, if you would like to have some time just for you and your significant other, they have kids group play where they will entertain your kids while you have dinner, relax by the beach/pool, or swim up bar. Very impressed by the kids engagement. Then add the several bars, snack spots, and lounge areas, lazy river, and beautiful views and beach, and you have a must stay spot for a vacation in Brazil.
