Il Gabellota Resort offers you the opportunity to enjoy the Puglia countryside while staying in a Trullo or a stone room. These ancient stone buildings, part of UNESCO World Heritage, are typical of Alberobello. All accommodation is air conditioned and comes with a TV and minibar. Some have a small kitchenette. Some of the Trulli have a private patio area and a conical roof, and are surrounded by a floral garden, while studios have vaulted ceilings. Il Gabellota Resort has an outdoor pool, hot tub in the garden and free WiFi throughout. It is around 15 minutes' walk from Alberobello centre. Breakfast is served in the property's breakfast room. On site- private parking is free and Monopoli and other seaside towns along the coast are around 30 minute's drive away. The Castellana Caves are 15 km away. Staff provide an attentive service and offer useful tourist and travel information. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9 for a two-person trip.

Reviewed By shunetsWe stayed in a double room near the reception. The place was very clean, with big spaces. The roomo was pretty basic, good bed and good shower. The staff was kind and ready to help. Short walk or 2 minutes by car to town. The pool seemed great for the summer!

The breakfast from Donatella was absolutely awesome, we ate way too much everyday :) It nearly felt as home from the first second! Donatella is very helpful for everything you need and has also some very good tips for the time in Polignano a Mare :)

Very tranquil and serene
Reviewed By CassykooymansWe stayed in a very cute trullo which was very neat and decent. There were other guests but it’s like having your own appartment, very quiet and relaxing. The pool is quite big and also clean. Everything is nearby. Breakfast was very nice. We wanted some cheese and prosciutto the next day and that was absolutely no problem. We had our own little terrace and ate our breakfast in absolute privacy with the company of 2 lovely cats. I would suggest offering some drinks at arrival for that little bit extra. It would have been nice to have an aperol spritz at the pool. The fridge only contained one bottle of water. So you are inclined to do your own groceries and as we were only staying for 2 nights it is nice to have those things available in the masseria. The airconditioning was not very cold, so for me, it was very hot at night. We had a very pleasant stay and if you like privacy i would highly reccomend!

Beautiful room, poor breakfast
Reviewed By Kate JLovely farmhouse located 10 min outside of Pogliano. We had a Junior Suite in the original house which is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was the nicest room we've stayed in during our two week trip. However for this price you expect more than just beautiful accommodation. A private party was being held and (very) loud dance music underneath our room was blaring until 2am. Little regard shown to guests. Unfortunately the breakfast is not good. No fruit, no croissants, no fresh bread, no orange juice. Cakes and warm (no refridgerator) yogurts. A little more effort on these details and this place could be a real gem

B&B Charming trulli is a complex of trulli located among the beautiful streets of historic centre of alberobello . Trulli are very cozy, elegant and refined, furnished with a minimal taste Mediterranean-style, typical of the area. The reception is located next to the Trullo Sovrano, near the most important monuments of Alberobello . Guests are fully taken care of and pampered even better than that offered by the activities continuously assisted by information material made in an appropriate and tailored to their needs ; breakfast rich and abundant in international style is offered in its restaurant trattoria TERRA MADRE, with organic garden, where guests can also have lunch or dinner or to make cooking courses with vegetables picked from their garden at the back of the restaurant: possibility to use a free computers and printers inside the reception.

Reviewed By 947gaI had an excellent breakfast, probably the best in over two weeks travelling around Italy. The town was average though imho. The rooms were clean and the under floor heating was especially welcomed. I recommend charming Trulli

Agritrulli is a country residence composed by authentic "trulli", typical houses in the Puglia region with a unique building style shaped like a cone. These 'trulli' have been built with traditional methods from the year 700 and consist of stones without cement. The trulli were used by farmers in the past to relax after working on the fields, because the trulli provide natural coolness held inside by the stone exterior. A trullo is a perfect holiday home for relaxing in nature.

Reviewed By toninarocksWe spent two lovely weeks with the owner and his family, who were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. Boy did we manage to relax and unwind. We especially appreciated the peace and quiet of the place, the many shaded areas where to get relief from the exceptional heat (45+ degrees perceived), the beautiful pool with inflatable toys and table football available for the little guests, as well as the playground, table tennis and petanque court. The place is the residence of the elderly owner and thanks to the help of his children it is slowly evolving to become more welcoming and professionally run. I am sure it will get even better in future. A big shout out to the caretaker Larissa, for whom nothing was ever a problem and would always go out of her way to help. We will come back.

The century old olive trees merged beautifully with blu sky and sunshine offering to my family the most terrific scenario to celebrate in an elegant and simple setting. The masseria is perfectly located between hillsides and seaside treasuring seabreezes and charming sunsettings. The management of Teresa, fine furnishing and a beautiful pool completed the set for an extraordinary, effortless and unforgettable party. We left the table for a short sigaret, and the table was cleaned, our wine removed and polish was put on the table. The steak was not oke, it was not steak, it could have been served in a stew, but not as a steak

Reviewed By dwrThe rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a little place outside the room to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast is typically italian. We had dinner there on the 2 nights we stayed (30 euro per person for dinner) It was fabulous. Food was excellent, it included wine and dessert. Family run and very accommodating.

Lovely family masseria and gorgeous food
Reviewed By hatches02We visited the masseria and managed to have lunch, something they don't usually do for non residents. Owned and run by the family the food was excellent and presented with pride. Some of the ingredients had been produced there and these were explained to us. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly and they recommended a really excellent wine too. As usual I couldn't finish and had the cheek to ask for a doggie bag. They brought me a tray and I have just finished my pasta for tea. Yumm. I would love to stay there sometime, perhaps for a birthday treat.
