Great price, Clean and quiet rooms
Reviewed By Tracy GThis BW is close to the highway a Starbucks and several food options that are walkable after a long days drive. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The serve breakfast to you and the choices are the usual breakfast fare. Everything was tasty and fresh. This was our last stop before heading back home and quite nice for an older BW.

To many small problems

Started with check I had requested as a platinum elite customer early checkin. We were delayed and arrived at 3:30 room was still not ready. After a delay they put us in a different room. The internet was a real challenge just to log on once we logged on it was ok. Tried to use the AC as the room was very warm it would stay on for a few minutes than kickoff. Tried at 71 and 68 no difference. Hats off to the night attendant he did bring us a fan. Breakfast unfortunately was a joke no omelets , no bacon , no sausage all were empty. The little bit of eggs were dried out from sitting to long. Had yogurt and muffins. We also came down a half hour later to check out and again or still they were out of most items. May seem that we are complainers but we have stayed at 20-25 different HIX locations this year and this location is not up to their standards

Nice Hosts. Would Stay Again.
Reviewed By Teresa WAfter reading that Willows had such a high crime rate, we were a little concerned to find this motel was located in the downtown portion of the city as opposed to along the freeway. We were also concerned because we saw online that the motel was sold out and we were afraid there wouldn't be a place to park since we were towing a cargo trailer and would be arriving late. All of our fears were unfounded. The gentleman that checked us in was so nice. He came out to the parking lot and gave directions to my husband as to where he could park easily with the trailer and have an easy exit in the morning. It's definitely and older mom and pop type motel, but the room was clean, the shower was hot, and the AC worked great. There were only two pillows, so my husband asked if we could get two more. Again, the gentleman was so accommodating and brought them to our room with a smile. We had a very quiet night's sleep. Wish we hadn't eaten before arrival. There was a little bar/grill across the street and the motel host told us they had really good food. The number of cars there would indicate he was right. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Reviewed By Q862FEmattI have stayed here several times in the past few years. The rooms were fairly clean but very dated and worn. Sofa had tears in it, carpet was worn and the curtains were tattered and partially off the rod.

Reviewed By Darlene HThe water feature in the front and the pool in the back are both drained. We have stayed here a few times, it is OK for the price. There are some weird things, the room we were in had been remodeled, but not by anyone I would consider a professional contractor. Most of the rooms open to the back, sort of court yard style, but the current management is treating that potentially awesome feature like a throwaway. Pool is closed, minimal landscaping. It is clean, the linens are OK. Free wi-fi, but it was slow and frustrating to use. The best thing is the location, close to I-5, C stores and restaurants.
