Reviewed By Amw59772264The paid carparking is NOT built for family cars at all, any larger than a sedan and you need to hope and pray your insurance is good. Receptionist has the personality of a brick wall but any other staff I ran into were delightful.

Reviewed By that_guestAfter leaving a property opposite you due to it being absolutely filthy, I was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly clean, neat and tidy your property is. Your staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend and I will be back with my husband, 3 kids and nanny next time we’re in Melbourne. We’re going to need 4 bedrooms all up so I hope you can accommodate us somehow!

Pictures on website unlike reality - not as nice as pictures Entrance to car park very tight at awkward angle and car space very narrow Reported Fridge not cold ( was replaced quickly). Hairdryer burnt smell when switched on. Towel rail wobbly in bathroom. Dryer and washing machine Needs replacing - Old and Dirty. Ironing board covers Burnt and dirty needs New one Overall Management needs to Do Stocktake of all apartments and ensure all Appliances are in working order and. Clean Carpets and Tile floor needs thorough vacuuming and mop

Reviewed By 756deannemStayed from Friday evening for the weekend was a lovely experience. I felt like a queen staying there. Room was great except for being a bit stuffy. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating food was fit for a queen. Only fault I would have is when asked how to use coffee machine staff did not no how to use and outside could do with some repairs. But highly recommend for somewhere to stay and would definitely stay there again. Thanks to all at Caturbury International Hotel.

Comfortable, spacious and clean
Reviewed By DucktalkYes, the room is a little dated but it's very well priced so not an issue. Booked the room via booking.com ... but first rang the lodge to see if they could match the rate so they'd get all the income. However, they wouldn't ... go figure. Stayed five nights at the last minute (husband suddenly in hospital). No weddings on so parking was easy. Gardens are quite lovely and at night they're very pretty with fairy lights. I was really comfortable, felt safe, had plenty of space to move and put my gear, car park right outside, quiet spot (amazingly) and good snoozy bed. Loved being able to watch TV from a sofa (rather than a bed) and I used the desk to draw or use my laptop. Also had a spacious bench to make breakfast or snacks. Getting in and out of the motel onto the main road was easy (school hols so roads are much less crowded). It's a solid half hour walk to the nearest train station and a pleasant (although somewhat noisy) stroll. There's also a bus along Middleborough Rd going to Box Hill station which would be worth looking at . However I worked out where to park close by Laburnum station without paying, so was relatively easy to get into the city and back without needing to take out a parking mortgage. Reception staff pleasant. Didn't use breakfast facilities, air conditioning or wifi, not that I was provided with a password. Every time I needed access, it was after reception closed so gave up. Definitely stay here again when we need accommodation in the east. Was very happy. Keep your expectations realistic and you'll be fine.

No lift available had to negotiate two sets of stairs from car park. Car park not secure. We should have been advised of the lack of amenities prior to booking.

Our Motel is situated and walking distance to Nunawading and Blackburn Railway Station and or proximity to the Eastern Freeway makes it only a 10-15 minute drive into Melbourne.

Reviewed By Stuart SI stayed here for two nights during a visit to Melbourne. Check-in was quick and, despite arriving an hour earlier than expected, my room was ready. The lad at the desk was very helpful in pointing me in the direction of the best railway station to catch the train into the city (Blackburn, a 20 minute walk - It is a manned station). My room was at the back of the complex and very comfortable and quiet. Biscuits were provided to enjoy with my cup of tea. The only issue was with the free WiFi. It kept dropping out, so I had to resort to using my own WiFi. The girl at the desk tried to sort it out, but the signal would only work with the door open.
