Bicycle trip
Reviewed By marckerkWe stayed here with a group of 16 in 4 apartments. All apartments were clean and up to date. There was a nice bicycle storage for our bikes as well as a location to clean the bike after our rides. Barbara is a great host and very flexible and understanding. She helped us where she could. Breakfast is just perfect and fresh, lots of value for a little price. If we go cycling again in this area we will definitely return to Casa Sofia. I can highly recommend these apartments if you go to Bormio area

Just five minutes from Bormio, in the Cepina residential area, a nice family-run, recently completed, new building, located in a quiet area but well-served offering shops, a bus service to Bormio: ski slopes and lift facilities, thermal spa centre, golf course parking area. All principal services can be found within a short walking distance. The apartments are wood furnished, well equipped offering every comfort (satellite Tv, internet wireless, microwave oven, dishwasher, safe, bath-tub and/or hydro-massage, wooden balconies overlooking the garden surrounding the building. Ski-store room, laundry-room, external and/or covered parking available. A barbecue, for summer parties which we organise, is at your disposal in the garden, also offering a sun lounge area. A "Heidi" wooden playhouse and two small "Peter" are available for children to play with... Come to visit us, we will be very happy to introduce our family, our home and the Bormio regional traditions to you... It is our pleasure to take you away from the frenzy of everyday life, to relax and enjoy yourselves in a magic atmosphere where you can do so, simply with the silence of the mountains....

Reviewed By bonita0010Big appartment, with refrigerator , livingroom and bedroom. Good value for the money. There is a pizzeria restaurant besides and you get 10% off if you are customer of the residence. Very good service! Nothing to complain at all! You get wifi in he common area!

Reviewed By NikkiL676My husband and I had planned to camp here for 3 nights but we only stayed for 2. Reception was a little tricky to find as it was basically the bar. A few staff spoke basic English. Very sloped roads but flat pitches. Shown to pitch beside a bungalow and the toilet block was pointed out. No other information or map of site given. We didn’t have any problems pitching the tent during a break in heavy rain. Took trying three different points within electricity box before we got power. We ate in the restaurant and had takeaway pizza during our stay. The food was great however service minimal..perhaps because of lack of English and our inability to speak any other language. Prices were very reasonable. 3 Euros for a large glass of Prosecco. The biggest disappointment and the reason we left a night early was the facilities. The majority of toilets are squat toilets and are dirty and smelly. We discovered two typical toilets in each block after going back and searching reviews. The majority of people seemed to be using these meaning that there was sometimes a queue. The site itself was beautiful and a great base for driving the Stelvio Pass however out of the 5 sites we stayed at during our holiday we felt the least comfortable here.

Appartamenti curatissimi nei dettagli, con la particolarità, non banale, di essere perfettamente funzionali oltre che molto molto belli. Ci sono tutti i comfort immaginabili, per una vacanza veramente super coccolati. La vista sulla valle è da togliere il fiato. Nota particolare per la cortesia e la disponibilità delle titolari, gentili, cortesi e super disponibili. Soluzione davvero impareggiabile!!

Reviewed By LeylaTBeautiful spot close to Bormio and to the ski slopes. Loved the decoration and the friendly owners; had a great night chat sipping their home made liquors. We hardly recommend having dinner at this place; the house wine is good and the food is simply delicious!!! Big portions and fantastic quality, the real taste of Valtellina. Reviewed By Lisa NBeautiful location. Rooms very comfortable and warm. Fantastic views of The Alps. Very basic but extremely clean. Lovely atmosphere and the staff although not very well at speaking English very friendly and helpful. Showers fantastic and didn't want to get out. Very good value for money for short stay and lovely character features. Loved the wood all over and best rooms are to front of the property
