Reviewed By basimaslamIt was one of the best stays i had in my life. The whole resort is really beautiful. It's so peaceful to spend time there. The rooms were really classy and clean. The bathroom was really spacious. Room had everything we needed in terms of amenities, space, cleanliness, etc. The. rooms we booked had open balconies with transparent sliding doors, if we slide the curtains, it's an amazing view and we really loved it. The room didn't need any air conditioning because the climate was so good We went there as a group. We got this amazing offer from their website for group stays. This package was really budget friendly. You can check their website for details. We were welcomed with refreshing drinks. The package included drinks, breakfast, camp fire, cycling and other activities in their resort . We couldn't do the fun activities because we didn't have time. But the food was amazing Their service was also really nice, They responded to all our requests really well. One of us had an electric car. The resort also provided facilities to charge our car for free. This came in really handy. The way to the resort is little bad. But it's only for the last 1 or 2 kms. Overall, we really loved it and would 100% recommend to anyone who is planning to stay in vagamon. This is the best stay you can hope for in this price range

Untrustworthy Manager/Staff
Reviewed By Shaky_Moon1) Property Manager: let me start with the property manager. a) Gender Bais b) Language Bais c) He sleeps in 8 bed guest's mixed dorm (if zostel website says a bed in 8 bed mixed dorm, it's only in system, actual status is 7 bed) d) He shouts at his staff in front of guests. It's not a fair work culture e) Drinking alcohol infront of guests 2) Staff: Untrained staff a) Nobody knows how to speak with guests b) Nobody wants wears mask/Sanitizer c) When water gets over, Nobody refills it irrespective asking it d) basic hospitality/services will not be met. 3) FOOD: As Vagamon remotely located, food is the basic need a) We ordered a food at 8PM, and got it at 12pm b) Morning breakfast/tea will not be available. They say no breakfast today without intimation (Thanks to Winter vale) c) It takes minimum 1.5hrs, even to serve tea/Maggi d) As food is a basic need, this is unexpectable e) They organized buffet, and cost was 500Rs. Trust me, it didn't even deserve 150rs. Felt like they trying to recover Covid-19 impact through food! APART FROM SERVICE RELATED ISSUES, VAGAMON PROPERTY IS ONE OF THE BEST ZOSTEL PROPERTY WITH REGARD TO INFRASTRUCTURE, LOCATION, IN-HOUSE GAMING ETC.... ALL IT NEEDS IS, A MANAGER TO ENSURE SMOOTH RUNNING OF BUSINESS/SERVICE.

Our property comes under the resorts category having all 3 star facilities. We have 16 well appointed rooms designed with all modern amenities to partner with you during your stay. We have a Gazebo-styled Mini-conference hall, recreational facilities like campfire with music, barbecue, trekking and other indoor games. We have enough space to engage in sports and games.

The view you get here reminds you of “windows wall paper of some remote location in swiss/scitland”. Rooms: neat and maintained well. Quite spacious for a 2 + 2 and you can take extra bed. Food: best among the hotels/resorts there. Location: the location is fantastic and you dont feel like going out of the resort elsewhere. Hospitality: all staffs treated us well. Anand (operational manager) was very cordial and helpful. Transport: the location is at a small hill so you would need to have your taxi/own transport. Else you can reach out to reception to arrange for a vehicle but had to be planned in advance. We took a 1 day jeep safari package. Highly recommended for a calm stay…

The only negative is the pool, it should have been much more bigger it’s really small compared to others. Overall the stay was nice

Location of the resort is no words ? such a beautiful location.❤️❤️ My kids are enjoyed the resort throughout the stay and the stream was nice. Food is amazing but no much time for us to enjoy. Lovely place for a family stay with kids and elderly parents. Staff is well behaved and beautiful girls in the reception is helped our kids for cycling, horseride, leading to the stream for bath. In-house Theater they play movie as well?❤️? it is complimentary. Barbecue experience and campfire was nice. Our photo will be printed on a mug and gifted to us at checkout, it is an amazing idea to remember the stay every time when we see the pic on the mug??? Highly recommend this place for a valuable and memorable stay in Vagamon. All the best to the management and staff members.

Hot water was available 7. Kitchen is accessible to us for heating food for kids. 8. Staff will purchase food for you from a nearby good hotel 9. Wifi is available 10. Off season rates can be bargained over phone. 11. Television provided in room 12. Good for large family groups or bachelors Cons 1. Single families or couples might feel insecure 2. Access road(almost 1km) is in a very very bad condition. Sedans and hatchbacks will struggle to reach the hotel. 3. No boundary gate or security gaurd. 4. Reception is not manned round the clock. But you can get him on your mobile phone. 5. No phone in room No complementary water bottles in room 6. Even though we have a beautiful view from the rooms. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not maintained and are dirty spoiling the experience. 7. Handles of toilet taps are broken 8. No restaurant available. Staff will purchase the food from a nearby good hotel as per order. 9.Surroundings of the hotel are not maintained properly. But for the room rates they ask one can turn a blind eye on this. Verdict: Overall the rooms and surroundings can be improved considerably. For a budget traveller interested in sightseeing and not planning to spend much time at the property this is a good option. Looking forward to visit this place if i am traveling with friends or family groups.
