Nice but ...

I can't put more than 3 star unfortunately, They have to be more attentive about the guest's that don't respect the silence hours. I had the bad luck to have my room just in front of the elevator, room 419 (since the first night I had no chance to sleep at all during all my stay) so I pay to be awake all night as others guest just didn't care about the silence hours, and they where talking loudly and screaming during almost all night, on my second night, there were more than 10 people sited on the corridor outside the room after 11h30pm ( I reported it to reception). So sadly that the reception didn't care about my complain, they were just sorry, I would luckily appreciate a little gesture, but one even joke with me telling me if you didn't sleep I can offer you a coffee SERIOUS MAN ?? Ok is an Hostel but like everyone I pay my journey as well and I think to sleep it's a minimum requirement. For the rest nothing to say it was all really nice.

There is a mall with a couple of grocery stores. There are restaurants near by and several fast food restaurants as well. They have a very nice breakfast buffet. Something for everyone.

Great location, not great hotel

Reviewed By Krister Z

The location is great! The rest isn't. Stayed here a few times long time ago when on short business trips. We chose it this time for a long weekend stay primarily due to location, and thinking it would be more hip and nice than a cheaper Scandic or Sokos. Since GLO price themselves a bit above average, it's also rated as such. Breakfast is OK, almost on par with Sokos or Scandic. TV-channels same basic channels as on all the others. Good thing that you can connect your own iPad t the TV if you want. The rooms are small. You have to up-grade two steps to get a reasonably sizeable room, and I'd recommend to ask for a higher floor, since you get rooms facing the inside you have to be on floor five or higher, otherwise you'll have the roof covering the courtyard at your windowsill. You can not open your windows, so you'll be dependent on aircon and termostat. We could live with that corridors and rooms are a bit worn down, but the worst thing during our stay was the extremely poor cleaning. When coming into the room after housekeeping had "cleaned the room" we found that only bedcovers had been straightened, and a towel had been changed. Garbage cans were not emptied, glasses not cleaned etc. The floor was not cleaned and hadn't been cleaned for some time. Same for the wardrobe, where neither a vacuum cleaner nor a brush had been for at least a few week. Cups were dirty, and the desk had staines, and some sticky stuff on front and legs. Hence, this was not the result of one poor cleaning, but a clear sign that basic things like regular cleaning isn't done in an OK way. Since the problems were so grave we talked to the reception. They did a good job in finding us another, cleaner room, which was appreciated, and also was the only solution since house keeping had left for the day at 5pm on a Sunday.
