The rooms are perfect size, the decoration is bright and clean, as are the corridors. Professional service, a bar/restaurant and usage of the gym right next door. What more do yo want. A very good place to stay.

Super location, extremely helpful staff

Reviewed By LouiseIreland

We have just spent 2 nights with our 3 kids at the Ramada Scheveningen. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed. Duty Manager Alouette was a font of knowledge , so helpful, and pleasant! Her team were at all times willing to go above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible: looking up train times, recommending restaurants, things to do, booking a taxi. They made the difference! We had their family room for 5 (room 217) . It suited us perfectly: a big double bed, a lounge area, huge bathroom, and a bunkbed room for 3. In my opinion, more hotels should have rooms like this one! If you are planning to visit Scheveningen, or want to avoid Amsterdam on the weekend, this is the place to be. Lots of family friendly activities along the beach (Sea Life, Lego), restaurants and the beach. We loved it! Thanks to all at The Ramada!

Nice winter stay

Reviewed By meijkevh

A clean, modern and comfortable room. I liked the design and the bathroom. The hotel was situated perfectly for me: at the end of the busy strip, so out of the noise but directly at beach and dunes - and all facilities close by. Because of covid the restaurant was closed. I went out to get my meals, so no opinion about the restaurant. My only struggle was with the room temperature: it kept getting too hot for me (in January). In the end, I just kept the balcony door slightly open, at night as well.

efficient hotel - careful with the included breakfast

Reviewed By jeremy b

We paid extra to include breakfast when booking, on checking in we were told that as we were checking out at 8am (saturday) we could not have breakfast - only a crappy pack lunch to take away instead. No chance of refund instead. Beware if you need to leave early (8am isn't really THAT early) on a weekend

Probably charming in older days

Reviewed By swn1980

The hotel itself is perfectly located close the city center. Interiour and design are nice but as soon as you reach the rooms zou can see, tha the best days are over or that at least a renovation is about time. The mattrass on the bed is far to high so it is even hard to climb in and out. It ffelt as if it was one of these oldfashioned ones with metal springs in it. There was an uncomfortable smell like in the room. Something like a mixture of of verz old smoke and feet. Heard from colleagues who stayed in other romms that they also experienced it, so it was not just about my room. The breakfast is cheap but is as well onlz served from 7:30, what makes it a little bit different, when you are on a business trip. The service was everage with one exception. The receptionist from Australia was one of the most caretaking hosts ever as we should leave very early in the morning. Big Plus for him.Since I only stayed for one night it has been ok. I would have been disapointed if I would have booked it for a private trip though
