Traveled here for business and the hotel was very accommodating. Currently due to COVID meals are provided to your room. The food was delicious for both breakfast and dinner.

Rustic Hunting Lodge

The lodge reminded me of visiting the countryside in remote Maine or upstate New York. Every wall was paneled in pine and very rustic looking. But the rooms were big enough, clean and had a modern bathroom. The included Polish breakfast buffet was one of the best encountered! The grounds were lovely and the lodge was near a large pond so you could hear birds. Nice place.

Scenic, quality, friendly
Reviewed By Vytautas_LTAkvilon, 3* hotels we used to stay for 2 nights. Rooms were good (pity there was no heating and outside there were some rains). Hotel is located in walking distance from all attractions: Arcadia waterpark is neary, historic cente is few minutes away. Bus stop nearby and if you get room - you may enjoy scenic views to park with Czarna Hancza river. Bus stops are nearby too. Staff is friendly, helped with advices, provided us with maps of Suwalki, explained (without even being asked for) where some fanous objects were. Breakfast is served in local restaurant and is really quality one. Few times we had our sausages half-cold at 8 o'clock (breakfast starts since 7 AM). Overall, would really recoomend Akvilon as a place to stay.

Reviewed By Fatima0310Overall, we are satisfied with our stay. Nothing really sophisticated, but of course, you get what you pay for. Still, the rooms were clean, and the dinner was nice. Breakfast was not the strongest part of our stay, also because we were rather late.

Wonderful memories of a wonderful place

After a long and interesting train journey from Krakow, the lodge was like an oasis of calm and beauty. The staff in particular are wonderful and made our holiday. Truly superb people. We have often talked of going back one day and these pictures make me determined to do so. A gem.

Terrible restaurant - a meal that may never arrive…
Reviewed By martamJ2558GDOut of 2 couples placing the order at the same time, one got their meal after half an hour and the food was fine. The other couple was not so lucky. After one hour when half of the group started digesting their food with the next round of beers, the other hungry half asked the waitress what about the duck and dumplings and heard that they are still not ready and the kitchen needs more time. We have not been informed that we would need to wait 90 minutes for the food. The waitress said sorry when we were cancelling the order but had no compensation offer for her mistake. The restaurant was not crowded at the time of our arrival but then a 12 people group came and our guess is that the kitchen focused on their table forgetting the others. So if you don’t want to leave hungry and dissapointed, better make sure how long you will have to wait for your food. Also if you are allergic to wasps, avoid this place, they will accompany you at the table in large numbers.

Reviewed By Asia KThis isn’t a hotel, this is a wedding house or a disco. The booking this hotel was a big mistake. The hotel organizes a party with alcohol and loud disco polo music. Drunken people scream all night and music can be heard all over the hotel. For the reception it isn’t a problem that other guests cannot sleep. There time stopped 20 years ago; there was no renovation and no cleaning of the rooms. I have never seen such a dirty carpet. Spider's webs in the corners. The price is too expensive for such standardization. The staff don’t wear covid face masks. Never again!

Perfect for one night stop (wedding permitted)
Reviewed By alexfC4589GSThis is the second time we stop at this hotel during our long trip, and we really like the hotel. Family room was really big, clean and comfortable, food at restaurant was good and free parking is available. Location is really nice and quiet. There is also a playground for kids outside. Only negative thing was that this time we arrived on Saturday, and there was a wedding at the restaurant, with really loud music until 2 am, which affected a bit my sleep. Luckily the rest of the family (including 3 kids and 1 dog) slept well, so it was not so big problem. If you think this would be a big issue, better book for other days of the week, to be safe.
