Reviewed By ontheroadbI slept there for one night , the price worth the place , was reasonable. The room was clean , good bed , Mineiro style , there was a hammock at the front o the room . Breakfast was very good . The place is quiet .. it’s not a walking distance from the attractions.but most of people have a car so that’s not a problem. there is a parking place also for free .

Situated down a quiet cul-de-sac, minutes away from Sao Joao's main attraction, the Igreja de Sao Francisco, this spotlessly clean pousada is an ideal location to base yourself when visiting this part of Minas Gerais. Spacious, immaculate rooms, firm beds, stunning breakfasts, complimentary afternoon coffee and cookies, helpful staff and a share of Nitza's local knowledge will make you wish you could stay longer at this gem.

Its a very simple place, placed on the highway , very close to Tiradentes city. It's a great option for those who want to spend the day at the historic cities (Sao Joao Del Rei and Tiradentes), as well for those who come for working. We offer: Free wifi; free, closed and covered parking; variety of rooms; large dinning hall continental breakfast from 7 a.m to 9 p.m. There is a restaurant just below the property, in addition we sell some drinks and snacks,sandwich, popcorn and soaps. We have several tourism and ecotourism partnerships in both cities offering a better experience for our guests.

Ridiculous price for mediocre accomodations
Reviewed By nikolayi2021At R$450 per day, we would have thought that this hotel would be magnificent 5 star hotel, especially being in a small town. However, that was far from the truth. Overall the hotel is nice. Spacious rooms and a beautiful outdoors, considering it's on a golf course. That's where it ends. The golf is not free as we were led to believe and we actually need to pay to rent the equipment and balls. Now that we are here, they tell us that it's free if we bring our own stuff. Who is going to be lugging their clubs through the airport on a 13 hr flight for a vacation? The breakfast if mediocre with a decent selection of fruits and nothing else reeally available for a healthy vegan couple. The gym is atrocious, with 2 pieces of pathetic equipment. Everything is basically run down, old, and dark. If this cost R$250 per night, this might be more acceptable. But overall they charge 5 star prices for 3 star accommodations.

Reviewed By Leonardo DThe hotel is basic. Rooms are simple but the hotel is clean, quiet and in a central location. Pizzeria on site. Attendants do not speak English but are very attentive. A piece of the history of Minas Gerais is felt on site. WiFi is horrible!

It is composed of traditional colonial house and some modern additions. It has a very nice pool. The cosy rooms are equipped with modern conveniences. The WiFi is free but can be slow at times. The breakfast, which is typical of this area of the country, is delicious.

Might as well want to stay there all day

Apart from that, however, the place has everything: Space, a large and well-maintained pool, a beautiful garden, very friendly and helpful owners and staff, a great breakfast, nice views from every hammock hanging around, beautiful and spotless rooms and a comfy and homey common area. Wifi, of course, on the whole premises. A great place! Had I known that before, I would have booked more than just two nights. Prices, by the way, appeared absolutely okay. Good value!

Reviewed By Gislaine VThe hotel is decorated with charming, new country style furniture. The staff is very helpful. They provide you with all the info needed about the city and the tours available. The breakfast has a good variety of food and the scrambled eggs are cooked under guest's demand. The location is also good, since it is not so close to downtown, so the place is very quiet. In addition, the hotel is on a walk distance from the train station, where you can take the train and go on a lovely trip to the city of Tiradentes.
