Incredibly beautiful and peaceful walking along mile after mile of deserted beach, watching the pelicans effortlessly glide along the wave tops. John, Angela and the whole team at Punta del Norte Bungalows were perfect, and the food marvelous ous.

Reviewed By 968dimitridWe stayed at Bali Hai with some friends during a recent fishing holiday to the area. This is a quiet resort with very attentive staff. The resort is well located a short 20 minute drive north of Mancora. The rooms and bungalows are large with comfortable beds and bathrooms. Wi-fi was available and at a decent speed Food from the kitchen was excellent, above the restaurant is a coveted lounge area tastefully decorated with Balinese furniture. A great spot to watch the sunset and have some drinks. The resort is owned by two brothers who have travelled the world surfing. They have managed to bring to the resort a chilled vibe that won’t be experienced at high end resorts in the area, whilst at the same time providing luxurious rooms and service. Jonathan and Melitón at the pool bar were great, Leonardo set up our unforgettable romantic dinner. Milagros was very nice at the buffet, Flor and Carolina at the Italian restaurant. All employees were extremely nice. Place was outstanding

After 2 adventurous months, we were looking for a quiet, cosy place at the beach with good food and relaxing atmosphere. We found it all at Mamaqocha Lodge which is near Cancas in northern Peru (between Piura and Tumbes). It was exactly 25 steps from our bed to the waterside. The rooms quite basic but comfortable. The location is just a dream. Ilich, Javier and Ximena made our stay at Mamaqocha an unforgettable experience. The food was fantastic, people in Cancas very friendly. Mamaqocha is like a little hidden paradise and we are so lucky to have spent there the 7 days. Thank you Ilich!
