Attractive, comfortable hotel with great staff. Wi-fi is very poor
Reviewed By grafranOur suite was spacious, with a comfortable huge bed, and very clean.There was a small fridge, but, unfortunately, no safe. Although the weather was quite warm (C 30 deg + during the day) the room was not too hot, although we did need the cooling fan at times (it was not very effective). The TV is very hard to navigate - a basic user guide would be useful. Breakfasts were good, although there was not much variety during our 5 night stay. The wi-fi is poor (for a hotel of this category). The connection was often difficult to achieve, and it cut out frequently. This was a pity, as we were not able to research a lot of our travel in the area. Staff were outstanding, both in the restaurant & reception.

Reviewed By hrschulzdeWir hatten das Hotel für drei Tage gebucht. Vorab mußte bereits eine Hälfte des Preises gezahlt werden, bei Ankunft (!) (nicht Abreise) die zweite. Beim Beziehen des Zimmers stellen wir beim Auspacken mit Schrecken fest, dass das Zimmer nicht nur nicht sauber (Dreck in den Möbeln), sondern die Schubladen sogar voll mit hunderten Maden waren (!!). Der Hotelmanager hat nur diskutiert und Ausreden (wir sind am Land, die Zeit war so knapp zum Saubermachen) gesucht, anstelle Verantwortung zu übernehmen und das Wohl des Kunden im Auge zu haben. Weiterhin wird vorab geworben, dass das Hotel ein Restaurant besitze. Hat es aber nicht, es gibt nur ein Frühstück. Abendessen somit außerhalb per Auto/Taxi notwendig (genau das wollten wir nicht, da wir mit älterer Dame und Kleinkind unterwegs waren). Zum Glück konnten wir spontan noch am Tage der Ankfunt wieder in die Unterkunft zurück, wo wir vorher waren (die war nur 10 min weg und dort war ALLES sauber UND es gab ein Restaurant, und einen guten Service)

What a great place to stay!
Reviewed By GabeMonroyThe house is situated in the very quaint town of Pueblo Tapao, away from the buzz of the nearby city. We were received at the airport by Mario, the owner, who picked us up for a fraction of the cost of what a taxi would have charged us. When we got to his house were were greeted by his parents, who were very amiable and caring people. From the first day that we set foot in the house, and everyday thereafter, we were greeted with a smile and a fresh cup of brewed coffee. They serve a great breakfast (not complementary, but the price is reasonable) that was homemade and accompanied with some hot chocolate and arepa -- definitely worth it! Our room was just right, it included a personal bathroom, fresh towels, television and also room service during our entire stay. The host also helped us with directions, places to eat, things to do and see. The house is very clean, well kept, and the area is safe. I 100% recommend it! P.S. You can also get to nearby places easily and inexpensively such as: Parque del Cafe, Salento, Cocora Valley, and Armenia.

Reviewed By 116adrianazUn lugar muy bonito, lleno de mucha naturaleza, la habitacion muy limpia, el desayuno muy completo, la atencion excelente, queda a 5 min pueblo tapado, 12km del parque del cafe, lo unico es que no hay agua caliente pero esto se puede mejorar con ducha eléctrica.

Maravillosa estadía.
