We have 12 rooms with air conditioning and 07 wooden bungalows whose purpose is a more rustic (but no less pleasant) experience and therefore, do not have air conditioning. Our rooms have a minibar, wireless internet and a safe. We also have breakfast and free parking, swimming pool with service available until 22:00, playground for children with games and we are a pet friendly hotel! We have a multilingual staff ready to assist you with tours, tickets and any experiences our guests wish. Reviewed By Sparx_1966This was my first trip to Brazil and I'm glad I chose to stay in Prea and, more specifically,at this guest house. It's a very welcoming, clean and confortable place to stay and I would definitely recommend one of the sea view rooms which also includes a terrace (with hammock) and a perfect view of the sea itself only 50 meters away. This was really useful as I came here to go kiting and so having a full view of the beach was a real bonus!! Tibo is a generous and helpful guy and is always on hand to answer any questions you have about the kite spot or the area in general. His team are also very good and ensure that you get fed well in the morning and also make sure that you have a clean room to relax in after you've been out and about. Like most of the reviews of this Pousada, I would also have to say that I loved the breakfasts and afternoon cakes all made daily for your eating pleasure!!! The town itself is a little busier than some of the earlier reviews have said and that's a good thing. It's not too busy or noisy but you also don't feel like you've pitched up on the moon either. There are many place to eat (the food is very good) and there is a supermarket a 10 minute walk away. In fact, I would urge people to have a look around as the views from the beach are fantastic and if you want go to Jeri for the day there are dune buggys/taxis and 4x4x4's passing by pretty frequently. Don't know what else to say really... It was a great trip made even better by having such a good host and place to stay. I'll be going back later this year when the wind returns!!!! Note :Sadly, TripAdvisor would only allow an upload of 10 photos.. I took a ton so I've added a small selection.

Reviewed By Mikkel_EllingsenSuch an amazing hotel run by very friendly and helpful people. The entire hotel (incuding the rooms) is clean and very stylish - built for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast and lunch/dinner was great as well (which is good, as there is not too much going on around the hotel). Choppy seas, but also a nice place for kitesurfing.

Cool concept, poor execution
Reviewed By AntonioS674The social areas are cool, food is great, kiteschool is awesome, concierge and waiters are super nice. But, the rooms are VERY unconfortable. Super noisy (the place is surrounded by parties during high season). It literally rains inside on windy days and that brings HUNDREDS of insects to show up (and the dead ones stayed on our floor for days, as cleaning was very poor). And when it is not windy, then it gets super hot (there is no A/C). I spent 5 nights there and barely had any quality sleep. Very unconfortable.

Pousada Sitio Phoenix is located at the entrance of Jericoacoara National Park, only 20 meters from the beach of Preá! Our structure offers pergola beside the pool where you can relax or perhaps catch up on your reading, massage facilities, playground for children to enjoy, direct beach access with storage area for Wind and kite, bar, lounge with tennis and pool tables, wireless internet and private parking. The hostel is not located at Jericoacoara Village, it is located 12km before reaching Jericoacoara. We can offer you Suite, Bungalow or Chalet. Suites include a king size bed, kitchenette, TV, air conditioning, minibar, bathroom with hot shower, safe and garden view. The Bungalow has a TV room, bedroom with king size bed, air conditioning, safe, bathroom with hot shower, kitchenette with microwave and minibar. Moreover, it has a magnificent view of the sea. The Chalet has a TV room, bedroom with king size bed, air conditioning and safe-deposit box, bathroom with hot shower, kitchenette with mini-bar and microwave. Reviewed By 24awo1I have stayed at pousada Phoenix a few times, it is a good deal for its cost, not luxurious but in one of the best spots front sea in praia do Prea, Jericoacoara.The rooms are nice enough, has a good breakfast, and a swimming pool. It is not five star service but the people are very nice and accomodating.For me the best is its location and the agregate kite school, Play Kite school, its owner and main teacher Ronaldo is a fantastic kitesurfer, the best I have seen, enthusiastic in his lessons, has a buggy that can take you to flat waters if you need, he is always ready to do long downwinders with you at prices normally below the local average.I reccomend staying at the pousada if you want a nice spot and are cost conscious but I definitively reccomend kiting with Ronaldo and his crew.

Kitesurfers perfect destination

If we’d had wind (not to have any in Prea is almost unheard of in season) it would have been even better but we couldn’t complain in any way about how we were looked after and our accommodation. The bungalows are well presented and we loved having our own terrace. Good hot water from showers (can be a bit hot and miss we find when in Brazil). The team are truly lovely. Nothing was too much and the very short walk to the sea was a massive plus for us. Good food, beach bar, restaurant and surroundings. We will be back for sure. This place truly does make you feel as if you are staying on your own private beach.

Facing the ocean, dive into our 23-metre long mirror pool to contemplate the horizon. Each morning you will be offered a healthy and tasty breakfast. Then, throughout the day, our mixologist will offer you his signature cocktails at the poolside bar, accompanied by homemade tapas. The hotel has a restaurant, a concierge service, parking and free Wi-Fi. The Ariston Pessoa Regional Airport is only 14 km away and a shuttle transfer is available on request.
Very good location, great comfort and service
Reviewed By vingreMy wife and I recently spent 4 nights at Kabana Hotel on a kitesurf trip. It was definitely a great experience. The hotel is made of a villa that can accommodate about 10 guests and 4/5 bungalows all very well located, directly facing the beach and the ocean. We stayed in one bungalow (Rio) which is probably one of the best located. The bungalow was very spacious, well ventilated (no air con but at no time heat was an issue) and well appointed, providing amenities that are not necessarily found in top hotels (chargers, plugs, ...). Bungalows use local materials (wood, palm roof, ...) and are in perfect harmony with local landscape as are the pool and common areas. Service was very diligent and friendly, going to great length to get customers satisfied although, as in many places in Brazil, hotel staff's English language skills were limited to non-existent. We had dinner at the hotel 3 times and were very satisfied with the options. Kabana Hotel does not have a kite center and equipment storage options but there is enough space next to the pool to gear while I kept the equipment in the bungalow. One downside however. As the hotel is located on the road from Jeri to Preá there can be a lot of traffic - and noise - especially on weekends. Launching kites requires caution and attention. In conclusion, I highly recommend Kabana Hotel and would be very pleased to stay there again.

A B&B just located uphill 50 metres from Prea Beach and right next to the National park , Kite Brazil provides an ideal location for kite surfers and beach lovers alike. It offers free Wi-Fi, a buffet breakfast and an outdoor swimming pool. The private rustic wooden bungalows with direct contact to nature are embedded in a lush tropical garden. The spacious wooden bungalows at Kite Brazil, all beautifully appointed with amply shower rooms, all designed to make the most of local materials and artesanato. Colourful throws on the beds and shelves made out of old kite boards mix with polished concrete floors and inlaid old Portuguese tiling to give a totally unique eclectic feel to the living space which is completed with wrap around veranda, recliner and hammocks . As the constant wind provides natural ventilation there's no air-conditioning here, no TV , but you've got a individually shaped pool with loads of sun loungers, the beach on your doorstep and high speed wi-fi internet if you really can't do without your fix. The locally acquired buffet breakfast includes fresh fruits, breads and pancakes, as well as a selection of tropical fruit juices. Restaurants and bars can be found in Prea's village centre, 500 metres away. A tour desk provides buggies for trips and downwinds. Kite Brazil has a kite school providing private lessons, rental equipment and free gear storage. Guesthouse parking is free.

Reviewed By carolarens67It's been my 5th visit to this place and even do I looked for other destinations around the world for kite surfing, eventually, I always end up here. The personal touch Dani and Hacky, the owners, put into this place is unimaginable. They will do everything they possibly can to make your visit unforgettable. The location of their poussada is perfect: in between the (more crowded) village and the national park. If you want to kite, just walk the road down to the beach.You can wash your gear after in the poussada and even storage it perfectly. The eco poussada is like an oasis, it's very well kept and clean with a big respect for nature. A colourful place with lots of plants and flowers. The bungalows are decorated in a very trendy style, in which you'll find all the comfort you'll need. Dani and Hacky created a very nice breakfast aria where it's very easy to get in touch with other guests. But if you're more a private person, that's okay too. The friendly and relaxed environment makes you feel like home and for sure you want to come back to this beautifull place.
