Beautiful place nice rooms

The food could be better and some of the staff in the restaurant did not have the knowledge about wine that is acquired. But afterall it was clean, nice and inexpensive. Value for money but not located in Peja and far away from everything.

Hotel Borea

I just recently stayed at Hotel Borea for some business I was tending to in Pejë. From the moment the cab pulled up to the entrance of the hotel, I was greeted by a doorman. The doorman immediately grabbed my bags from the cab and carried them up the steps. When I checked in, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and personable. The doorman who retrieved my bags earlier, promptly brought my bags after check-in to my room. After settling in, I checked the bed and bathroom thoroughly for anything questionable. I was amazed, there was not one speck of dust or fuzz, and the bathroom was incredibly clean. I was a very happy camper! Due to my busy work week, I used room service several times. Each I called down, I was able to speak to someone who spoke English. I was very pleased with the suggestions I was given when contemplating food options, as I am a very picky eater. Not too long after placing my order, my food was delivered promptly. Not only was the order delivered promptly, the presentation was beautiful!! When I finally had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant in the hotel, I was amazed by the gorgeous interior design. The lighting that encapsulates the booths is very cool! I felt like I was eating at an upscale restaurant in America. Immediately upon entering, you are greeted by the smiling restaurant staff. They have open seating here, so you can sit anywhere you please. Upon seating, you will be brought a menu. The first night I dined, I had a piece of salmon and a lime margarita. The first thing I took note of, was the consistency in presentation from room service to dining in. It’s very rare that the dining in and room service experience is equal and consistent. The salmon was absolutely amazing, so fresh, and the garnishes were beautiful. The margarita also caught my attention, it was made just perfect. I couldn’t help but order myself another and have one with dinner every night after. I want to highlight the restaurant atmosphere as someone who travels frequently and values atmosphere. The vibe was relaxing and my dinner was consumed in peace. I was also taken a back by the fact that this was a non smoking establishment- nearly every restaurant in the city is smoking. I dined there every night for the rest of my stay!! The establishment owner Hysni Shala was also present each night in the restaurant. Each night he went around to every single table to ensure his guests were being taken care of. He was attentive, sharp, and kind-the qualities of a successful business man. My experience throughout this trip was nothing but positive. If you are wondering about transportation- the cabs are so cheap. 1-2 Euros gets you pretty far! Most of the cab drivers also speak English, and they are friendly too! The staff at the hotel can also make arrangements for you. They did this for me nearly every trip I made to ensure I got to and from without any hiccups. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future. If you are traveling to Pejë, then Hotel Borea is the place to stay!

Decent Place to Stay in Peje

Reviewed By netia1128

This is a decent hostel to stay in while exploring Peje. The location is great, and the rooms are comfortable enough. The bathroom in particular is good - very clean and the showers work very well. Wifi is mediocre and the advertised kitchen doesn't actually exist (it's just a sink, no fridge, stove, oven, etc). The guy running the hostel is very nice and helpful, but be aware he actually works at the coffee shop downstairs, so when that closes, he goes home. I stayed in June and was a little hot, but I knew ahead of time there was no AC and thats just weather dependent. All around a good place to stay in Peje if you're on a budget.

The Stone Bridge Guest house has a perfect location in Peja and represents incredible value for money. Although it does not offer breakfast the guest house offers large clean rooms and the staff are very friendly and informative. Highly recommended. I stayed here whilst filming my travel guide to Peja (now on Youtube Travel Obscurer channel).

Amazing location and beautiful hotel

Reviewed By MadelineTravels77

This hotel was fantastic for our stay; it is centrally located overlooking the town square, and easy to walk to many restaurants/bazaar and the river. If you're a larger group, ask to stay in room 308 which is over two floors at the very top of the hotel, with a balcony right under the roof overlooking the town square. The top floor has lots of square footage for beds and lounging (we were 5). There's even a sauna in the bathroom! The breakfast was great and had a very large spread of traditional Kosovar offerings. Never had dinner there but there's plenty of seating including on the terrace overlooking the river. This is the place to stay in Peja!
