A great Resort for Family or Solo Travellers
Reviewed By livefrommanilaThe Henann Resort Alona Beach still is the place to go if you go to Panglao. The Staff is amazing, the Pool Villas are great with the private plunge pools and our son loved it. The beach is public so expect some crowds on weekend but overall it is still well maintained and relatively clean. As far as food goes, the Buffet at the Sea Breeze Cafe is great value for money and Christina's surely is a great place to dine as well. The Breakfast Buffet at Coral is all right and serves it's purpose but not always complete (no Bacon for example). Personally the only thing I could say was not really perfect. The various pools are great and well maintained as well. The whole property is well maintained and kept clean. Overall, can only recommend it. Will be visiting again.

Bliss on Panglao
Reviewed By traveler63123This place has set the bar when traveling to the Panglao. When it comes to service, these wonderful folks have surpassed others with ease. I have never had so many smiling faces, that bend over backwards, to make your stay here special. Great job ! The beach here is wonderful for all ages, especially kids, where the clear waters and minimal waves provide a gentle bathtub to play in. The sunsets are awesome also. As for the hotel, the rooms, balconies, and facilities are all 5 star, at half the rate of other high end resorts. A new shopping center with plenty of shops and restaurants is directly connected to this resort. Plenty of free options at the beach, such as kayaks, paddle boards, and giant floating mats add to the fun. I can't wait to return. Special kudos to Maita, Errol and Reggie at the front office. Juvy and Clark at the morning breakfast were among the standouts. SALAMAT !! :-)

A dissapointing stay.
Reviewed By travelrebelsOur second time booking here since the first one was unforgettable in a good way. Sad to say this second time will be our last time after all we have experienced. Pros: We loved Amorita we shared and recommend to our friends how exclusive and relaxing this place is and always will be . Our bad experinces: Chek in - We waited 2h after check in time to get to our room since it was not yet ready. Before, they give you a Tour around the whole resort to know the facilities and where tos. Unfortunately that did not happen this time. After the welcome drink we were informed about bfast time Buffet and asked to give our personal infos and our departure infos. Hold on we just arrive and you want to know already when we are leaving? Instead of asking our departure you could have check that we get information as to what amenities we can enjoy during our stay since we never had any of this infos in our room . Rooms - in our 5 days of stay I never NOT heard the loud noises of people running and going around the second floor. it was like hearing some construction worker when people go up and down the stairs. We were not warned by this ,needless to say you can keep a sign on the stair way to walk normally up and down . Might as well have your Stair maintained or checked. Room Cleaning bombarded the Toilet with Chlorine for cleaning and there was no air vent in this small room it was a horror doing your thing inside. The smell actually got worst on our last day of stay. Water on the Floor , from AC or leaking ? No idea how water went into the floor overnight when the room was closed and we were sleeping. Last but not the least Breakfast buffet - in our 5 days of stay we only have 1 decent and relaxing breakfast in Amorita, only when we woked up ealier to have it at 7am.Otherwise forget a quiet relaxing breakfast! If you are lucky to find a clean table ready otherwise you have to wait untill someone notice you and initiate to clean and prepare your table. Worst case you eat without utensils since the table is not ready and you have already gone get your food before everything. The Horror is also you eat without Water or Coffee since nobody cares to bring or ask you for coffee. Bottom line , please Management delegate your workers what to do or have the initiative to check on your guest needs. Amorita has lost its Amor to us and we hope Management will bring it back again.

Reviewed By Elmer RI am super amazed with this hotel. They've called it "The Hidden Gem in Panglao Bohol". The place is very nice, very clean and very relaxing. This is 15 mins walk to Alona Beach. The staffs are very friendly and easy to communicate. We will definitely comeback but this time with my Family! recommend for working from home, couples or groups.

We were welcomed upon arrival by Pearl, the Resort Manager, being offered with welcome drinks and cold towels from the staff. Though we were a bit early upon our arrival and decided to take 3 rooms for my family, Pearl was able to arrange 1 room to keep our items and preparing the other 2 rooms. The property has a calm and serene atmosphere comparable to a 5-Star property, with great hospitable service from Pearl, Gwen, Uriel just to name a few and all staff of BE Grand Resort in Bohol. The room was comfortable, with a bathtub, standing shower, bathrobes and flip flop slippers provided and a view of the swimming pool. The property provides game room, karaoke room, kayaking and SPA for all guests . The property does offer suites, villas for couples and family within the property As a Chef Concierge in my own property, recommendations are being made for my guests within the property for various outlets for dining, shopping malls within the vicinity and various places of interest. In addition, recommendations are also being made to our guests if so required to the resorts in the addition countries like Bali in Indonesia, Phuket or Pattaya in Thailand, Maldives and properties in Cebu, Boracay, Palawan and Bohol. With our experience in BE Grand Resort in Bohol, it is rest assured recommendations will be made to my family, friends and guests to the BE Grand properties where available. Special thanks once again to PEARL, THE RESORT MANAGER and all staff for providing great hospitality and a wonderful stay for me and my family making it a memorable experience. Reviewed By sandingandiversI stayed here with my partner for her birthday and was pleasantly surprised. The location is ideal to visit restaurants and bars in Alona. Room was clean, had a mini fridge, quiet aircon and warm shower. The door used a key card lock for safety. All the staff was really friendly, including the night guard. I informed the resort in advance of my partners birthday and they decorated the room which was really nice so I could not be happier with my stay!

The hotel staff are dearly accommodating and the foods are good and we enjoyed our stay, BUT let me give my piece. 1. We are a group of 12, we waited for 30 minutes at the airport for the hotel transport but when he arrived we were surprised “it was a pick up utility vehicle that can only accommodate our luggages and 4 people” and the driver advised us to wait for his returned for another 30 minutes, In short we rented a van for our transport. 2. The room has no comforter blankets they used linens as blankets. 3. We have been in some part of the world but it is our first time to see a fixed concrete block at the middle of the shower room, we realy don’t know what is it for. It is a safety risk.
