They ran my debit card 50.00 for incidentals but on top of that they ended up charging my card the very next day for $123 which overdrew my account! I had already prepaid for the room through Priceline. They issued a credit but it will take about a week to get, meanwhile my bank is charging me 35.00 for every transaction that posts while overdrawn. The room was outdated but clean and the bed was comfortable (I like soft beds).

Reviewed By Rebecca BThe room was clean. The beds comfortable. Stayed 3 days with no cable TV. Management didn't seem to care nor did they offer to adjust bill for the inconvenience. The breakfast that was available was average. When we prepared to leave, we asked for a cart for our luggage. Management stated there was only one cart for the whole Quality Inn and it wasn't available. The plus to this stay was the restaurant within walking distance, KJ's American Grill, well worth it's visit. When we visit Meridian again we will try a stay somewhere else.

Dirty, pool closed, poor sound-insulation
Reviewed By Viviane CI did not enjoy my stay. My sheets were stained, the bathroom was moldy with the wallpaper falling apart. I could hear everything from the room next door and upstairs because of poor sound-insulation. I had to go and buy ear plugs so I could sleep. I was looking forward to using the pool, but it was closed when I got there. I was given an accessible room when I did not need one and that room offered less counter space in the bathroom. I will go somewhere else on my next business trip.

Good value, clean and quiet
Reviewed By freshbillidahoFamily member having out patient surgery at st Lukes. Hotels closer to hospital (2 miles) were $75 more per night. Rooms were clean and quiet. Hot breakfast was good. scarmbled eggs sausage, small selection of breads including muffins, gravy as well as cold cereals and coffee juice. .

The rooms are clean and well maintained, the lobby is comfortable with little separate seating areas that we used for conversation. I was there dealing with a family crisis and I was very stressed out. The staff were incredible from the housekeepers to the desk staff to the food workers. They went way above and beyond expectations for customer service. Next time I’m in Boise I’ll most definitely stay at this Courtyard again.

Reviewed By ProMetalSalesThis is an older HIE located right on busy I84 freeway. I made our reservation at this property several months in advance and I am a gold loyalty member. When I arrived to check in, the young man at the front desk was neither friendly nor welcoming and did not acknowledge my loyalty status. I immediately asked where our assigned room was and he told me on the front side of the hotel facing the freeway first floor. I immediately asked to be relocated to a higher floor on the back/quiet side of the hotel as my HIE profile states. He told me the hotel was fully booked and he could not change my room. He made no attempt at all to work with me and I know from many years of staying at HIE's all over North America he surely could have given me a different room, he just did not want to make the effort. The breakfast room was closed in the evening unlike all other HIE's who maintain coffee, hot water and condiments there essentially 24/7. The previous nights HIE had fresh baked cookies out. This hotel does not come close to other HIE's we have stayed at and I recommend you avoid it. I counted 4 other competitors close by including a nice Hampton Inn, I suggest you consider one of them as an alternate to this HIE.

Rundown Marriott. Poor management. Not clean.
Reviewed By Dreamer47181545307They are not cleaning the rooms during your stay. So we had to request toilet paper and towels several times. Garbage bags from peoples rooms lined the hallways since they are not emptying those either. The mattress was absolutely terrible, to the point that I slept in the chair in the corner of the living room. The worn out pullout mattress that our child sleeping on was way more comfortable then the king bed was. The room was very rundown. The hotel had a horrible smell. Luckily we were able to open the windows in the room. There was about 3 inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door to the room. You could actually bend down and look underneath the door and see inside our hotel room from the hallway. We have never been more disgusted at a Marriott hotel. And we have been staying at Marriott hotels for last 20 years. Very disappointed as Marriott members that we wasted our points on this hotel.
