a very nice place to stay after visiting the Park
Reviewed By Sergio PWe just arrived at Conceição de Ibitipoca and we immediatelly saw Pousada Meu Recanto, which became our home for 4 nights. We stayed in "suíte jabuticabeira", a large, quiet, clean, and confortable room, with a very large bed. Breakfast was very good, and they gave us every day a small lunch for the Park visits. The staff was always helpfull, and they have a nice swimming pool. Unfortunatelly we did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant. It is not necessary, but we asked for a guide to go with us in the 2 longest track, and they found a very nice person to tell us stories and point the best places to stop and spend more time. It was a very good experience.

cheap plus good snacks
Reviewed By Guilhermepabeen there for 4 days in a tent. theres proper space for camping and for parking your car. clean toilettes with hot shower and plugs for charging your stuff. theres a small caffetteria where the owner makes good and cheap snacks. you can also pay and enjoy the complete breakfast with typical foods from minas gerais. just loved it. would say its cheap clean and decent food. one can rent rooms with beds also but i chose camping so i cant say much about it.

Weekend getaway with friends
Reviewed By Zuraylah JMy two friends and me went to stay in one of the cabins of Sitio das Hortensias. First of all, it seemed to be one of the best options in the area (nice, spacious cabins with really good value for your money). The communication was super easy with Adriana, who runs the place together with her husband. We talked over whatsapp, I reserved and was welcome. She gave me advice about the weather and made sure we were welcomed. The road leading up to the village and then to the site is adventurous, especially because we arrived in the evening when it was already dark as can be. The cabin was spacious, a bit old but in good condition. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our time there. Adriana and the other people were really friendly, offering tea (with fresh herbs from the garden!) and cake. The view over the valley is also amazing! It is a 10 minute drive to Ibitipoca National Park, which is why we went there.

Reviewed By Victor BBeautiful chalet and environment The Hotel location is really nice. In the mountains, close to the Park, surrounded by trees. Clean, nice bath, bed, service etc. The restaurant is also quite good. The park, with water falls everywhere, is spectacular. Deserves at least two full days.

We have 3 cozy and comfortable Guest Houses, equipped with kitchen, TV (Sky), WiFi, balcony and sunset view. We are inside the village, close to everything, you can walk to the center.
a nice personal touch
Reviewed By Alexandre PWe were not alone during our stay, but breakfast was not crowded at the main table with a full house, and we still got a very personal relationship with Sabrina and Daniel. The "pao de queijo" is excellent, by the way. Parking was in the street and we had some trouble because of a moto&jeep event during the weekend. Otherwise it is a vey quiet place, you only hear the many different birds of the region. A general note for Ibitipoca is you need very good legs...in doubt, don`t come! Very steep hills everywhere, not only in the park. The stairs in the guesthouse are nothing compared to the streests and trails...and do not try new boots there!

Simple but a good stay
Reviewed By BrazilianVoyagerThis little B&B is cosy, regionally decorated, very close to downtown but not too close, in a calm street where if needed you can park easily - location is very good. Breakfast is also very good. The only pushback would be bathroom in the Chale, very small (really). The Chale is also not very accessable for older people as there is a stair to access the bed. But it is a good option for family or larger groups with 2 single beds and a double one. Positive also for couples as does not allow young children (so was very quiet). Ibitipoca is a rural town, so liking nature and simple things is part of the package. Would come back.
