Caminetto is a cute, tipical location, situated next to the ski slopes in winter and next to the bikepark and many trekking routes in summer. The spacious rooms are comfortable and tipical furnished. Our family-friendly philosophy will guarantee a completely relaxing holiday for you and and funny experiences for your children. Last but not least: our traditional but revisited cousine will let you make a perfect culinary experience. Take your time to chill in our wellness center after the activities done on the Alpe Cimbra during your vacation, it will be the perfect way to complete your day.

Reviewed By 465lukaszsFirst visit to caminetto Resort. Hotel from the outside looks great. Rooms that we were given unfortunately were in poor condition, with electrical sockets not working. Bathroom was very small. Newly built spa is good. Food - in general food for adults was ok. However the children menu that was served, was always done from frozen products including the cotoletta, cordon bleu or whatever else was served. Very disappointing Dining room service was also quite poor - my kid was very often served last, which was hard to bear for a 5 year old, while everybody else was getting the food I have asked the waiters/waitress to address this but was mostly ignored. Animations for the kids are ok even though they are only in Italian - the lady leading the animations was TOP. The ski resort is great for the kids and most likely I will come back to Lavarone, but I doubt that Caminetto will be the place the stay. So first stay most likely will be the last.

Reviewed By PeterTS01A welcoming hotel with traditional service standards. Staff were all very pleasant and food good. Our room had a lake view and was comfortable. There is a steep but short walk uphill to the centre of the town and the walk along the lakeside is attractive. Plenty of parking.

Reviewed By craudio69Un ottimo ed organizzato residence appena rinnovato con cucina attrezzatissima, biancheria, letto con topper bel terrazzo e solarium sul tetto, scopa elettrica, macchina a cialde (in vendita alla reception)...insomma tutto quanto per farvi portare solo la valigia con i vestiti e niente di più. Posizione strategica in mezzo a Lavarone per raggiungere le varie località. La cortesia e la cordialità di Giulia completano il quadro. Nessun problema di parcheggio anche se, unica pecca, il park inferiore dietro il residence risulta necessario un bel po di manutenzione per erba incolta e chiodi residuati dalla ristrutturazione. Pulizia buona negli spazi comuni. Veramente vicino a tutto.

Charming winter time in Grand Hotel Astoria
Reviewed By pkrupAs every year, together with friends we went skiing to the charming Lavarone and chose the Grand Astoria hotel as the place to stay. We spent a wonderful time there. The hotel provided rest after visiting the slopes in spacious rooms, and evening relaxation in the zone with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Grand Hotel Astoria offered very tasty meals often associated with regional cuisine. I recommend this hotel with my traveling companions. For sure this year I will also use their hospitality.

Reviewed By Gareth OPerfect for our school group. Hotel staff were very helpful and well used to working with school groups. Large room in the basement was great for organising card games and activities for our group of 80+ students. There is a fantastic sports hall across the road which can be rented out. There was very little happening in the town itself which was a positive as it made it easier to keep track of the students. Breakfast was great, evening meal possibly the one aspect that was a bit disappointing.

Reviewed By Woodman2014We really had a brilliant time here. We were on a school skiing trip from Ireland. The people were so helpful and the food very tasty and plentiful. Rooms are comfy and spotless with brilliant views. There is a lovely little bar downstairs and a huge hot stove which is exactly whats needed after a day on the slopes. We will be back next year. Thanks guys for a brilliant time especially Claudia for all the lovely food and smiles :) John

In hotel trovi cio' che puo' offrire una vacanza in montagna : un genuino ambiente familiare, un ospitalita' sincera, spontanea, il confort delle camere, una cucina curata dai sapori semplici ma raffinati, con servizio di qualita' . Il centro benessere, sala gioco per bambini, deposito videosorvegliato per attrezzature sportive e' l'hotel di montagna che cercavi: non perdere l' occasione per venirci a trovare, arrivi da ospite e riparti da amico!!
