I was right across from the elevators , but surprisingly I didn’t really hear them opening & closing so that was a plus. I was please with the amenities & enjoyed the breakfast along with the pool/hot tub.

Reviewed By jbnd2022Good value. Rooms are huge. Clean guest rooms and bathrooms. No maid service during stay was no problem - actually OK - additional towels and toiletries available on request. Simple breakfast options with make-your-own waffles.

A bit older DT, but fairly standard
Reviewed By JBretteDLocated in Mundelein 'in-town' location. Fairly standard but a bit of a unique layout. As a road warrior, I don't care so much about how pretty a location is, but what it has for me. The fitness center is a standard Precor which is nice. There is an on-site restaurant for dinner, and the breakfast is the standard DT breakfast buffet. The room was a bit dated, but the HVAC was quiet enough and I did not hear any noise from the other rooms, hall, or street. Will stay here again if in the area.

Reviewed By 755jenhThis hotel is wonderful. So clean and very quiet. It's right across the street to Gurnee Mills and close to Six Flags. When you check in to this hotel, you get a text welcoming you to the hotel. If you have any issues, you can text them back which is wonderful. After I left, I received a text thanking me for coming and would I rate them from 1 - 5 with 5 being excellent. I sent this back to them: "We had a great stay! Absolutely no complaints! I love how close it is to everything and it was so clean which is especially important these days. I give it a 5 for sure." You can't go wrong by choosing this hotel and I'm getting ready to book it again!

Where to stay if attending Navy basic training graduation
Reviewed By wes607Sonesta Suites was a very decent place to stay. Not super fancy, but nice. It did have a nice work out facility. The rooms had ample space and were very comfortable. Front desk was nice and easy check in/out. Nice area, very clean and safe. Its less than 10 minutes to the welcome center where you pick up tickets for graduation and the base is 6 minutes from the welcome center. Without traffic this hotel is approx 30 minutes from O'Hare airport. Oh, it had a nice little kitcenette (no oven). This was a very good place to stay. Parking was great too. NO COMPLAINTS

Naval Graduation

The hotel was beyond clean, the staff was very friendly, and there was a free breakfast every morning. Would 100% recommend to anyone traveling for the Great Lakes Graduation.

Reviewed By Happiness13835092903We were there for a navy graduation and chose this place for the larger rooms, firepit and outdoor area as a way to visit with my son before he shipped off. The firepits been broken a year, there’s really only 7 chairs and was made to look larger than the smoking area it is. They plan on turning the firepit into a plant bed. We were informed at check in no maid service (which was fine but no trash dumped, no new towels either), and a breakfast that shouldn’t even be thought of as a breakfast. They didn’t even have creamer all 4 days. The beds must be the original. The springs are in your back. I went to my 70 year old dads room and was the same. I slept on the small chaise. This is not a Marriott by true standards. This is a hotel that everything must be the original and they are using covid 2 years out to claim for its less than acceptable standards. Save your $. Ask questions to the hotels when you book. This one was terrible

Reviewed By ducienmThe team there is extremely kind and goes out of their way to make my stay most comfortable. Nikki from the restaurant side is awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable about the Mettawa area. The rooms are super clean and the gym is spacious and has a nice equipment set.
