We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and they decorated our room with towel swans (with rose petals) and chocolate covered strawberries. The included breakfast is fantastic and the hotel's restaurants have great food and service. We will absolutely stay here again next time we visit Costa Rica.

Checking in was a breeze and we were greeted with hot towels and cocktails- then we were guided to our rooms which was the Orchid Room- it was super spacious, LOVELY rainforest view, and NICE shower/bathroom! I was able to see my friends Rainforest Room, which was also great with a tub for two and a porch with bed. The service was fantastic, restaurant food was really good- the pumpkin soup was the best!! Breakfast buffet was great and the hot springs I highly recommend. NO complaints about this stay and really looking forward to being back! Also, pretty close to everything too!

The rooms are huge and spectacular with views of volcano and hot volcanic water runs into your own private pool. Surrounded by tropical flowers, trees, monkees, tucans ans sounds of the rushing river, it is a paradise you never want to leave. The property is huge, winding through hot springs, rivers, pools, and lush landscaping. Breath taking. The spa is fabulous, the restaurants are beautiful and the food is, not Michelin level, but very good. The wine bars food was my favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service us all 5 star. ( not as great as mexican service, but a close runner up). This is a must experience. If you wwnt to visit tobacan springs get tix ahead of time. The nite time one is best.

A Surprise Overnight Stop Left Us Impressed!
Reviewed By WindAndCloudsI openly admit that my wife and I are absolute hotel snobs and this might be the first hotel we have stayed at in 20 years without first reading reviews or ratings. We have also never been to a developed hot springs resort anywhere in the world. Coming from Arizona in the US, we are a waterpark family. Keep that in mind as you read. Our 3-family group of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids aged 6-11) stayed at the Westin Reserva Conchal in Guanacaste for a week at the end of May 2022. Mid-trip, we asked our guide (Tomato Adventures!) about changing the itinerary so we could visit the Arenal Volcano area. Of course he said yes because Tomato is awesome. However, this resort is a 3.5-4 hour trip from Guanacaste down not so great roads so it required an overnight stay. Tomato made a few calls and said he thought this would be a good place for us. HE WAS RIGHT! The hot springs are so neat - they have been crafted into all of these different named pools flowing into each other down the mountain. There are 4 or 5 waterslides and they are INTENSE. Borderline dangerous... flying down slides, dropping through a hole upside down, completely losing your sense of direction most of the time. They were AWESOME. And yes, we visited every pool, ha. The rooms were unique, large, and clean. The showers are fed with the hot mineral spring water, our skin felt great. We have never stayed in a hotel room with two king beds, but it was perfect for our family of four. The patio was large - some adults in our group spent time outside while the kids ate indoors. The room service was more than acceptable. You aren't going to have a fine dining experience, but we had spent 4 hours wandering the grounds and would have been happy with chicken fingers and fries (waterpark food!). We cracked open the wine bottles in the room and used up some of the snacks in the minibar. It was all pretty good and reasonably priced for a hotel/resort of this nature. The next morning, breakfast was included. The buffet was plentiful, the food was fresh and delicious, and the indoor/outdoor area was clean. We left very early, around 7AM, to get to our next adventure. We would absolutely stay here again for a night or two if we were visiting the Arenal area.

Reviewed By jenniferpL6055YF.I was at the resort for the weekend, its living nature fills you with energy, an amazing natural environment. mix of the tropical forest with its hot springs at the spa Sharlyn was super attentive to our needs and took us away to make the gifts of the mountain since her name fascinated me and the masseurs Pía and Sharlyn transmit serenity The Combination of aromas during the massage were Spectacular, in fact, they dedicated themselves to pampering us and giving us a little piece of them. I recommend them and I will definitely return.

Beautiful, modern and secluded Villas with stunning views of Arenal Volcano and the rain forest. Just inside the park at Mistico Hanging Bridges. Great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful immersion into nature.
Highly recommend: BEAUTIFUL views, private and comfortable cabins, friendly host, and next to Mistico Park!

The cabin is clean and comfortable with a view of the volcano - very private (no views of other guests on the patio despite being a few cabins at this lodge). The complimentary breakfast is delicious and it’s right next door (few steps away) from Mistico Park! The drive up from the exit off the main road is stunning as well (see last 2 photos). 100% recommend!

looking for a non-spa affordable hot springs day?
Reviewed By Jan Dtermalitas de Arenal is a Costa Rican family fun place to relax. Nine pools of various temperatures are surrounded by trees and flowers. Bring in your own food or purchase at the snack bar. These pools are abour a 10 minute taxi ride from the center of La Fortuna. We didn't intend to spend the day, but found it hard to leave.

5* secluded resort in La Fortuna
Reviewed By dmikeyhSpent 3 days here following great on-line reviews. We had done extensive research. To be fair, these didn’t do the resort justice. The resort is set privately adjacent to a large river, which wraps itself around the perfectly manicured grounds. The apartments are secluded and huge featuring a king sized bed and huge shower. Very tastefully decorated. We spent time on the balcony from where we observed monkeys and birds including hummingbird and Toucan. Very special. 50m from our apartment was a very well equipped outdoor kitchen. Despite it being shared, we only saw one other family use it. The fridge and freezer are compartmentalised so each apt has its own shelf to store breakfast/ food products. There were two immaculate pools on site, one with a slide and hot tub. As we were so busy during our short stay, we simply didn’t get an opportunity to use them unfortunately. The staff are very attentive and appear on golf carts to attend to any requests. I suggest you capture a contact number on arrival as there is no reception as such. Would definitely stay there again. Ideal for couples/ honeymooners, families and friends. So glad we chose it.

Reviewed By misa57We spent 4 nights in this family hotel which has a little swimming pool. The prices for the rooms (which are small and simple) are more than fair and the breakfast delicious. The owner ist very friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay very close to the city center of La Fortuna.

Reviewed By MaiUike初めてのグランピングステイでした。テント内は広々としていて新しく清潔的なベッドが快適です。その他に物置き棚やハンガー干しなどもあり便利でした。各テントにあるベランダにゆったりとしたカウチがあり快適でした。また、各テント内にシャワー室とトイレや手洗いシンクがあるのも便利でした。シャワー室にはボディソープの備え付けのみなので、シャンプー等は持ち込みが必要です。また、水がとても綺麗で、手洗いシンクの水道を安全で美味しく飲むことが出来て良かったです。 テント内にはエアコンディナーが設備されているので快適です。TVや冷蔵庫等はありませんが、ホテルっぽくなりすぎずテント感があって良いです。テントなので朝方は朝日で明るくなりやすいですが、それもそれでテントキャンプ感を感じられて良いです。 テント内で心配すべきは虫だけです。床とテント壁の間に隙間があるので、蚊などの虫が入ってきます。蚊除けスプレーや蚊取り線香は必須です。一度10cm強の大きなバッタがテント内に入っていて驚きました。 朝食は屋根付き屋外の解放感があるスペースでのビュッフェでした。フルーツ、ピント、卵料理、パンケーキ、ヨーグルト、飲み物等がありました。 ホテルには温水プールもあり楽しかったです。大きな温水プールと小さめのジャグジーがありました。 テント内はもちろん、ホテル敷地内では、十分なスピードのあるWi-Fiがあるので便利です。 ホテル周辺には車で10分以内のところにスーパーやレストラン等のあるダウンタウンがあるので便利です。でもホテルからは適度に離れているので騒音が聞こえず快適です。
