Outstanding stay in Revelstoke

We only spent one night at Coast Hillcrest but would recommend it to everyone and will stay there again if we are in the area. All aspects of our experience were excellent. Having a brewing company within walking distance added to our experience as it would for anyone who enjoys craft beer..

Well renovated historic hotel in Nelson

Reviewed By DaveV836

Nicely renovated historic hotel. Parking is 100 feet away in a Parkade without an elevator. Library bar great for food or a cocktail. The pub is excellent. 3 levels, tvs, pool tables etc and better than typical pub food with a good atmosphere. Spirit bar downstairs hosts concerts etc so if you want a quiet night check the schedule first or ask for a room on the 4th floor.

Very clean, cozy, great location, friendly staff, a nice welcome when we arrived. The breakfasts were lovely with delicious coffee. I was happy we stayed at The Gateway. Thank you. The balcony and view was wonderful after a day of activities. The cozy corner with the fireplace was our favourite. We didn’t get to go to their gym/ workout room or sauna but great to know for next time. ?. Thanks again.

Best breakfast!

Reviewed By Sherry B

The lady running the breakfast area was friendly, efficient, and truly cared about the quality of the food she presented. The variety was excellent, and even the bacon was cooked properly (not soggy and greasy as we usually find in hotels). The tables were cleaned thoroughly after each use. It was the best breakfast experience we had during a two week vacation around BC. A very positive way to start the day!

Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge and Restaurant

The Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge and Citadella Restaurant is situated well above Radium Hot Springs with the BEST view in town. We have panoramic view from every and EACH private balcony, even from the lower floor. Our Hungarian Restaurant is under the motel, with a huge patio, also with a magnificent view and the most delicious meals in an idyllic atmosphere. You can see the Rocky Mountains from everywhere in town, from all the motels, but it is not comparable to our view, just like you see it from an airplane or a bird's eye. Room price includes hot breakfast served in our restaurant with a variety of items to find your favorite one. It is not a buffet, rather a freshly served breakfast made by our Hungarian Chef, just like our dinners. We have an extensive menu for the evening meals, a variety of Hungarian, western and vegetarian dishes. You can watch the sunset while dining or from your private balcony, and the sunrise from your bed if you wish. We have pet friendly and wheelchair accessible suites on the main floor. All rooms have sitting area, new queen beds, new carpets, fridge, microwave and free WIFI. We can provide coffee makers or cattle's in your room.We are located a 1000feet over town by the National Park with all sorts of wildlife frequently walking by. A trail trough the forest starts from our parking lot to the Mineral Hot Springs. We, the owners clean the rooms, so they are spotlessly clean and we serve you in the restaurant as well, very friendly hospitality.

Unbeatable views from a comfy room

Reviewed By Robby_Cristian

Very comfortable accommodation with outstanding view over the Columbia Valley and village of Radium. Our room was well aerated, sparkling clean with a comfy mattress for an easy sleep. It would be nicer if: breakfast (continental) would start earlier, another toaster be added, ‘cause everyone line up to one toast machine at 8:00 am to get a piece of bread toasted. A small investment with a significant customer experience impact.

A nice place to spend the night.

Reviewed By H4846RRmarye

We had two queen size beds, good coffee machine/selection and a small fridge. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. We had a "take away" breakfast supplied the next morning. Although it is close to the train tracks and main road we found it was quiet. Would stay again. Nothing fancy but certainly met our needs and we felt safe and comfortable. The owners are very nice and made us feel welcome. We would stay again, only wish it had more of a kitchenette. There is a great bakery just down the street with amazing baked goods and bread.
