Reviewed By Elizabeth JThe motel is quite nice, located right in town near cafes and restaurants. We had top floor spa room, bed was comfy, room very clean. They include tea coffee biscuits and mini bar with cheap drinks. There was a toaster as well. Bit tired in bathroom with fixtures that could be replaced but all in all a very pleasant stay. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is cheap and delicious. The restaurant for dinner was good food. We found the pub and bowling club had cheap options as well. The only issue is there is no lift, only stairs, and if you have issues with mobility then ask for ground floor room.

Reviewed By donaldson5Lovely room beautiful views from window .comfortable bed and clean well appointed ensuite . Easy parking underneath property. The whole property has been recently refreshed and painted . It is an easy walk into town . Only complaint is that you need to check if the restaurant is open . If not it is Well worth delaying a visit to make sure it is as it is excellent . Very pleasant stay .

Reviewed By Voyage276446Getaway south Coast winter ?? My wife's old stamping grounds. It was cold very cold and windy The town is still very small spread out you definitely need a car hilly. The resort would be good in summer pools outdoor areas. Winter long walk to dinning room.

Terralong Terrace Apartments is a small complex of 16 spacious, fully furnished and self-contained serviced apartments in central Kiama on the South Coast of NSW. We provide a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, all with fully equipped kitchens, internal laundries, flat screen TVs, DVD players, huge balconies and most with spa bathrooms. Our apartments are serviced daily and fresh towels and amenities replenished as required. Off-street, undercover, allocated parking is free and we are just a 5 minute walk from the Kiama Railway Station. We are also within a few minutes walk of cafes, restaurants, shops, Harbour, and the main surfing beach. Airport transfers from Sydney International Airport (90 minutes from Kiama) can be arranged on request.
Spacious and convenient

Aparts. for five nights but I fell sick again and had to cancel our ongoing plans and stay there for a further four night, and thank fully there was availability to stay without moving. We had a two bedroom central apartment and there was plenty of space and facilities although showing their age were more than adequate to provide comfortable accommodation. Location was great especially towards the end when we decided to take the hire car back and not extend; being able to walk to all we needed, including 12 mins to the train station which together with the Opal Card, made many more things possible. More attention could have been given to cleaning where the bathrooms and rubbish removal were either light on or absent at times. Nathan is a friendly and helpful manager (?) and resolved queries appropriately. This was especially so when on the last night some noisy guests below us decided not to follow the clearly stated request to be mindful of other guests and keep noise down, especially after 10pm. It took a couple of phone calls and finally visits to the offenders, but he followed up each time with increasing demands and finally all went silent just after midnight. We were greatly appreciative of this as some places may have abdicated their responsibility, but Nathan responded with appreciated effect. Thank you. Overall this was an easy, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Worth noting are others comments about the steep entry, especially if a low/medium height car. And choose a room that is not opposite the Indian restaurant; good food but a little noisy til 9.00pm And do not think of eating at the Grand Hotel in Kiama! Certainly enjoy Olive and Vine!

Reviewed By MU_67_02We stayed here for 1 night recently and it was very good. Service was friendly and efficient and provided some local information. The room clean and comfortable, with good amenities. The location is a short drive from the centre of town and our room was nice and quiet.

Reviewed By Carmenere007We paid $310 for one night’s stay. The room was small and cold. I couldn’t change the air conditioner from cool to heating. There is only one mirror in the bathroom - no full length mirror or other mirror in the room. There isn’t a wardrobe either to hang clothes - only hooks on the wall.

Reviewed By Bindley1We stayed in a motel room at the Discovery Caravan park Gerroa. Our first impression on arrival was the happy friendly staff who completed the checkin. Most of this was done online- there was an envelope with our names, key, gate password and tourist information to enable an almost contactless arrival. Our room was spacious, kitchen well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The park is close to Crooked River, walks and the beach. Bring your own food or go to the fisherman’s boat club or takeaway from Gerrigong. We would recommend this place.

Could not get the money back after room is chaned from luxury room to family room
Reviewed By Y1249GYleannewAt first, I booked a family room for 2 nights for the price of $779, later I cancelled that booking, and booked the luxury room for $950. When we arrived and checked in to the luxury room, we found the toilet was broken and can't be used. So the staff agreed to change room for us. The only other luxury room has already been booked so he changed us to a family room. That staff and me checked the price of the family room together and it was $646 (that was possibly due to last minute discount, and I took a screenshot of that price) and he said since I paid $950, they will refund us $300. I agreed. And he said he was busy and told me to come back the next day he will process the refund for me. We checked in to the place on Saturday, so on Sunday, I went to the reception area again and asked the staff to do the refund. He said since it is Sunday their refund process is not working and he asked me to come back on Monday (we were leaving on Monday) when we checked out and he will do the refund for us. He seems very friendly and also very helpful so I did not have any single doubt about what he said. I said ok we can do this on Monday before I check out. No rush. But that was the last time I saw that staff. On Monday, I went to the reception area many times try to get the refund done. No one was there. At the end, we just left without speaking to anyone. (The family room is opened by passcode, so no key is required) After we arrived home, I started chasing this refund. Everytime when I called them, someone will answer the phone. Whoever is on the phone always sounds very polite and asked me what happened, saying he/she was not aware of this and he/she would promise that he/she would chase this for me to get this fixed, and saying he/she would call me back. I can't remember how many phone calls I have made in regards to this. I have to repeat this again and again. And after numerous phones calls, emails etc, they finally refunded $119 to me. Saying from their end, that is the price difference. We sent them email again, I sent them my previous booking record of $779, and the same day price screenshot of $646 ( this is the one their staff saw and agreed to refund $300). No response. We have not got the remaining amount. I stayed in that place for 2 nights ( 8 January and 9 January). The location is good, the surrounding is good too. The staff, I thought they are polite and helpful. But now I am not so sure.

Reviewed By blueeyeexplorerGreat place to stay, staff are really nice. Bed is cozy, big swimming pool and close to the township. Stayed here a few times and definitely coming back. Spa rooms are very comfortable and spacious, payment is easy, huge parking space for lots of cars.

Big BBQ area and clean facilities. They even upgraded us for free as there was a cancellation! Staff was super friendly and welcoming! Very pleased with our stay :)
