Reviewed By svamuranenI have stayed at the hotel a couple of times. Staff is always friendly, the rooms are not luxurious but rather basic and clean. Breakfast is typical Danish style. The view to the sea bay is nice and a small harbour is within a short walking distance.

Very Disappointing and Gross.
Reviewed By solbjorg123We rented a suite at Hotel Strandparken, but sadly it was a very disappointing stay. The view and area was/is really nice. but that is it! the hotel was definitely not worth the money. The cleaning and the morning buffet was indeed lacking! There was no hand soap when we arrived, and the soap holders was really gross!. The Spa bathtub was smelling really really bad, and there came brown water out of the cane in the spa, so it seems like they didn't clean that either! There was spiderweb with dead bugs in the corners, and also you had to check every coffee mugs and glasses, because most of them was also not cleaned good. One of the beds was almost falling apart, and was making really loud squeaky noises everytime you turned around in it, so that sadly kept us awake both nights. The morning buffet was very disappointing too. There was only 2 kind of healthy very dry and hard bread, and the bread had big holes in it. There was no white bread or "danish"/wienerbrod or pancakes or anything delicious. So it seems like they only live on the lake view, and not so much on quality, cleaning and service. We give them 2 stars only because of the nice view and area.

Bromølle Kro is idyllically situated by Åmose Å and surrounded by forest which provides plenty of opportunities for hiking. Bromølle Kro has been at this beautiful location since 1198 – right in the middle of Naturpark Åmosen. The Inn is well known for its cosy rooms and fine restaurant with a wide selection of dishes based on all the best from the traditional and new Danish cuisine. 30 lovely rooms are peacefully located behind the inn with a view to Åmose Å and the surrounding forest.
Quiet place in the forest

The rooms are located behind the restaurant, away from the road and facing the forest - wonderful! Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. Room was good and clean with a small private terrace and a good bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. We had dinner in the restaurant both night, good traditional Danish food in a ‘traditional atmosphere’ sensing the old time in Denmark.

Beautiful location, tiny tiny rooms
Reviewed By Sasha LMy husband and I spent a few nights in this hotel for a friend's wedding. The location is beautiful, really. Green and pretty with ducks walking around and the smell of fire in the morning. But the rooms.. very disappointing. We booked a double room (and paid good money for it) which usually means a room big enough for two people with a double bed. What we got was a tiny space, barely big enough for one grown person and one single bed. In the beginning we were sure that they made a mistake and gave us a single room, but then we were told that there is another bed under the single bed. Basically, it was one small bed and one small mattress, more suitable for a mother and a child, but in no way for a couple. Good that we're pretty slim, can't imagine how a heavy person would fit there... :/ Needless to say we were really disappointed, specially since there was no information on the location's main page stating that this tiny space is actually a double room. So we didn't know what we're getting. There were also no mirrors in the room, just one small mirror in the bathroom, but it was impossible to put makeup there (for example) as the bathroom had no windows, just a little lamp with very dark yellow light. No real shower too, just a curtain to wrap around you. Also no real door between the room and the bathroom, so one of us had to leave the room if the other wanted some toilet privacy... There is also no real restaurant in the hotel, so if it's evening and you're hungry you are on your own.. The breakfast was pretty good though :) The verdict: ok if you're going to spend a night there for an event by yourself or with a friend. Not ok if you are looking forward to a romantic weekend with your partner.

Holbaek is positioned centrally around beautiful and natural surroundings in the middle of sjaelland and offers all kinds of overnight accommodations. At CampOne Holbaek Fjord you have the opportunity to stay in a caravan, tent or one of our very luxurious cabins with room for up to 5 people. Hotel capacity in Holbaek isn't particularly good, but with a living room/kitchen, bathroom/toilet and 2 bedrooms, our cabins are a very good alternative to a hotel. From many of our cabins there is view of the fjord, and should you bring children, then there are always playmates to be found at the big playground or in the swimmingpool. When you have rented a cabin at CampOne Holbaek Fjord you have free and unlimited access to the covered and heated swimming pool, spa and sauna, these are all things our guests frequently use.

Reviewed By Dave FWe stayed at this well run campsite only five minutes walk to the lovely marina and fjord. A short twenty minute drive to the Roskilde viking museum. Fantastic! The restaurant is very good great for the children also.

Nice stop over
Reviewed By saylocknAll accommodations around the Copenhagen city were booked out, we we had to move out of the city and found this place a 40mins drive from the city. We arrived late and the owner was very nice in arranging the instruction on how to get to our room. Clean and all basic amenities are there. Very quiet place and one can rest well after a long day walking in the city.

Wonderful place to relax
Reviewed By Isabo713Excellent short stay in a lovely B&B. My friend and I spend a wonderful relaxing time and our host, Thomas, was great to talk to and very flexible and attentive. We arrived earlier than planned, but it was absolutely no problem to already get to our room. A free parking lot was just across the street. We found everything to our best and also enjoyed the outside area and garden in the evening. The area was really calm and the bed super comfy, so we had a perfect sleep. We also had great coffee ad tea the next morning. The nearby nature is easy to reach by foot or bike and we also enjoyed a walk in the forest. We can surely recommend staying at Thomas place if you look for a relaxing and welcoming athmosphere!

Meget fin værelse
Reviewed By flemmingpoulsenDet var svært at finde ! Første gang kunne jeg og taxi chaufføren ikke finde en indgang. Efter en senere telefon samtale (anbefales) kom jeg ind. Meget fint og glimrende værelse, flot køkken og dem jeg talte med var meget venlige. Skal jeg til Holbæk igen bliver det der.
