We booked a hotel in January for May for the whole family, We have been friends of shamaim for years, Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the hotel now, the reasons that everyone should know: 1. The hotel has no parking but only for a daily fee of 24 shekels - ok we can live with that. 2. We arrived at 12 and checked in online but the room was ready at 14:20 and just because we upgraded to "studio" rooms that we were told is only one in a floor but discovered that it false fact and there is more, from that reason our family was split to 2 floors and after I came to speak with the assistant of the CEO of the local hotel, they switched back to 2 rooms in one floor. 3. A kids club that Fattal hotels is famous on is closed and they say it will only open tomorrow. I was amazed to find that there is no entertainment activity for children at all but only in July and August This was not published in January and when I called for public inquiries it was explained to me that it is now published, from my current review on the site I do not see this message, The service manager claims it's published, but I do not see it and would be happy for a reference If I knew. It is not clear why at a time when the hotel does not supposedly have a budget to fund a children's entertainment team, it is not possible to send hotel guests to a nearby hotel from the same chain that is only about 100 meters and has an entertainment team. Why not let hotel guests get there. This was already done during my stay in Eilat and also in the Dead Sea in exactly the same situation ... The children do not really care if it is from the same hotel or hotel 100 meters away, when I tried to offer this option I was completely refused without any desire on the part of the customer relations manager while Henel only claimed it was posted on the public site but as I said I would love to see that the site is now filmed Contents of the Consumer Council Segin misleading consumers. It is important to note that when I ordered this in January it was not famous .. Needless to say, if it had been published in January we would not have invited here at all. It turns out that despite the proximity to the sea there is also no beach for the hotel but only for a fee or travel to the municipal beach, On the one hand the hotel is famous as prestigious and on the other hand it has no entertainment activities for a vacation that cost over 6000 shekels is definitely disappointing .. The children are very disappointed and the public inquiries also referred me to the service manager who was not willing to help and only referred me to the website to see that it was registered ... There is a feeling that the hotel is shirking responsibility and only turning to the scriptures instead of really helping a disappointed guest. Important questions for the average Israeli guest: 1. Does a citizen who wants to enjoy with his family in beautiful Israel deserve such a disappointment? 2. Does a hotel abroad treat its guests in this way? 3. Is this the way to treat a veteran and prestigious customer online? In conclusion: Especially at a time when there are options for the Israeli tourist such as Sinai, Greece, Turkey, etc. I would expect a hotel in Israel to be a little more flexible and courteous towards its old guests, but unfortunately I came across complete opacity and a reference to the site claiming that Hanel is famous all the time .. Too bad but we will learn for the following cases. Worth noting is the dinner which was a reasonable plus as well as the spacious room.

Amazing hotel; thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

My daughter and I stayed here for several days with a tour group, and this place is spectacular! If I could give it more stars, I would. We felt completely pampered in the suite that we were assigned, which was very clean and spacious and had one bedroom, two full bathrooms, a living room area, and a beautiful view. The buffet meals were also fabulous, with a wide array of delicious and beautifully presented foods available. I skipped breakfast for a few days and slept in, and finally tried out the breakfast buffet at my daughter's insistence on our final day. It was incredible, and I kicked myself for not getting up earlier to enjoy it every day. So if you visit, don't skip the breakfast buffet! There are also some ruins on site that we visited, which were pretty cool. The beach area is not quite as nice as we thought it would be, but overall, I would definitely come back again if we ever return to Israel.

This Place is a Hot Mess

Reviewed By Dennis M

Despite having to wait two hours for our room to under go an inspection, it was still filthy and bed covers had balls of dust on them. Bathroom floor was filthy and the drains were clogged. At the salad through, I got pushed away by two aggressive women who would never consider waiting or queuing up politely. They offer free beer and wine but the wine is hideous and the Gold star beer tasted watered down compared to the bottle version. A two star hotel at a 5 star price in desperate need of major renovation.

Fabulous property w outstanding food, service

We booked 2 nights in the oldest building directly from their website. Emailed a few times ahead of our stay with questions - management was very detailed in their replies. Comfortable, quiet lodging with excellent air conditioning. Free on-site parking for our rental car. Our stay included breakfast and dinner. The dinner spread is excellent! Staff is super friendly & helpful, especially Daniella, Oscar and the front desk managers and porters. The resort pool is a gem. We appreciated how it stays open until 7pm as we enjoyed a full hour just floating in it (after a long and thrilling day of driving around the entire lake visiting Holy Land and Golan spots). The gardens/grounds are just exquisite. I'm so glad we had time each evening to relax and enjoy The Scots Hotel. Worth it!

Nice property, but issue with room reservation

Reviewed By 812jerrym

The inn is interesting and fits in nicely if you want to stay in Tzfat, although be prepared to roll/carry your luggage a bit. Breakfast was adequate, although we expected it to be a bit better with more choices. There was a mix-up with the room we thought we reserved, so we ended up in a smaller room without a private terrace, which is not what we wanted. I am still not sure if the issue was due to The Way Inn or our travel agent. If you want to stay in the heart of Tzfat, this is a great place to stay.

I was afraid of this hotel because it has a pretty low rating, but in truth I don't understand why. The staff was helpful and nice, the room nice, clean, with beautiful views and quite large. The bed is comfortable. Small balcony, but cool for two. Food excellent, for breakfast and dinner. Free entrance to the thermal baths, which are about 5 minutes away. Price for local conditions excellent. We needed to leave one day earlier and everyone was very helpful. I can only recommend.

Grossest Hotel We Have Ever Stayed

Reviewed By Baronaroundtown

I am not sure what hotel these other reviewers were staying, but this was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed. The rooms and I say rooms, because we had 5 different rooms before one was even remotely acceptable. The amount of filth was overwhelming. We asked that the room be cleaned as we were going to be out all the next day, we came back, it was still dirty. The staff tried to be accomdating, by saying they understood, but from what I saw everything was dirty. I do understand rooms being outdated, but what I do not understand is literal delapidation, threadbare towels with stains and pubic hair and wrappers on the floors, not to mention lampshades covered with splatters. (pics below) The food in the dinning hall was terrible, no fresh fruits which are absolutely abundant in Israel. We were served the same awful food both nights we were there, and the breakfasts which are usally amazing in Israel were deplorable( Basically indedible, good thing we packed snacks). For a country that has about a zillion orange groves they served some sort of orange drink from a machine. Shame on you, you have a captive audience...

We were visiting the hotel as a family and we took two rooms with connecting door. The experience was excellent. The breakfast is great, great variety, welcoming service. Beds were fine. The room was clean, everything in order. The hotel is in a walking distant from the old city of Nazareth with the famous and remarkable churches, the old market. Christmas is a great season to visit the city. We got a complimentary tour from the hotel of the old city – Abdu was a great guide. I highly recommend the hotel.
