Reviewed By 258brianf…was definitely fulfilled. Easy to find next ti the water. Parking just next to the Inn. From the first second, the service was excellent. I was taken to the room, and informed about all necessary details. Very clean, minibar, coffee and tea facilities. The bed a little on the hard side. Great menu in the restaurant and service, atmosphere as well as the food way above average. Due to early departure, a lunchbox was prepared. Will most definitely be back if in the area.

Aviaja the great!
Reviewed By LittleFlower90We had such a lovely stay at Danhostel Faxe. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Aviaja was such a delight and made our short trip to Faxe so much better for probably being one of the nicest and happiest people I have ever come across when staying or visiting anywhere. She really did make us feel special. Due to being late for an appointment the following day we didn’t have time to get out of our room so asked if we could come back which was no problem, and when we had seen the breakfast had been laid out and how amazing it looked we asked if it would be okay if we could come back for it later and Aviaja said it would be no problem, and true to her word, when we arrived back maybe 2/3hours later, everything was there waiting for us(in the fridge of course) and she guided us towards the breakfast room to ensure everything was perfect! Faxe itself is a very VERY quiet little town and everything is closed by 9PM, but I really would recommend Danhostel Faxe, and if ever I am back in Denmark I will go back there simply because of how nice and accommodating Aviaja and the other staff had been to us. We really did appreciate it and I wish you all the very best in the future. ????

Reviewed By Ulrik HThis is by far the best camping in Denmark. Been here for 10 years 1 week each summer and it is just getting better and better. Its so clean and there are lots to do. The nature is just amazing. The staff is sweet. Big shop for everything. Great indoor swimmingpool and beach. It is such a nice place.

Vemmetofte Rectory Retreat is an idyllic quiet hide away - bed and breakfast in the beautiful manor nature of South Zealand, UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE Stevns Klint. We have 4 large and 2 smaller newly renovated rooms in our historical building from 1717, in front of the moat to the very private Vemmetofte Castle. The personal contact to our guests is important to us, and we strive to make life pleasant and relaxing for our guests while staying with us. It is here in our beautiful living rooms and in the huge old garden we encourages our guests to enjoy being in nature, listening to the wind in the high linden tree crowns, take a walk in the surrounding forests, ride a bike to the beach, or just lounging and reading a good book. As in other old landmark buildings, there is not always private bath in connection with the room, but the room size, decor and house atmosphere outweighs carefully this imperfection.

Reviewed By Adventure17548706392We stayed here for our wedding and everything was perfect. Our host Vibeke and her husband couldn’t do enough to make our day special. Breakfast was excellent and the bedroom facilities were top class. Very authentic and stylish hotel with classic danish features. Very quiet area for those looking for some tranquility. Thoroughly recommended. Vibeke treated us like family and made our stay very special and memorable. Thank you to Vibeke for hosting us!

A difficult one to judge because the place is lovely, the bedroom unacceptable as double
Reviewed By YvonneNorwayWe liked everything here really except for the tiny bedroom with small bed. The whole downstairs, bar area, dining area for breakfast, outside garden and seating great. Food was delicious and breakfast good. Owner, staff very friendly. We would gladly return if we knew we had a proper double bedroom with decent bathroom. On our last night home, we stayed in Frendensborg Store Kro hotel, neighbour to the royal palace and paid same price for room. The difference between Slangerupgaard bedroom was enormous. In all my years of travelling, and I have stayed all over the world in fantastic to simple basic hotels, I have never been more shocked to see bedroom number 1. As we put out head inside we nearly fell to the floor. It was the most basic tiny double ever. The bed was ridiculous, had we have been slightly overweight there was NO way 2 people could have slept in the bed. It was pushed against a slanted roof, so one of us had to wriggle in. Had we not been so dead tired, we would have had to find a proper double bedroom somewhere. Was a TV screwed to the wall, that lying in the bed you couldn't have watched at that angle, and even though in Denmark, were 4 German channels and very little else. Bathroom also needed serious tending. Proper tiling, and waterproofing. So sad because the hotel was super, we really really liked it, everything was perfect except for the room. Would have gladly paid more for the night. Don't know about other rooms here, but room 1 should NEVER be sold as a double room. Use if to keep the brooms, and cleaning materials in. Could only find 1 plug point and that was fixed on the little table in the corner. So strange because the place is lovely, but its like 2 different worlds, the downstairs and upstairs.

Wat een rust
Reviewed By cindyvanliempdNa een hectisch periode in ons leven besloten wij in de Corona tijd een keer naar Denemarken te rijden. Ik wilde graag naar Møn en Kopenhagen. Deze geweldige b&b zit daar precies tussenin. De rust en de natuur is heerlijk. Je kunt savonds (in ons geval) de maan in de baai zien schitteren. Je hoort zo nu een dag een auto maar verder krekels, vogels en verder niets. Het huisje is prima, een eigen bed/keuken en badkamer. Verwacht geen hoogstandje dan valt het nooit tegen. Neem eens genoegen met minder en geniet van alles om je heen.
