Very friendly reception staff Josefine
Reviewed By JenstockholmThe location is ideal, close to tourist places and right beside the water so a bit cozy to walk around. They have a very friendly and helpful staff by the name of Josefine. You can feel she really likes to help the guests. Food is OK during dinner, but staff there needs a bit of service-mindedness. Except for the cook (man) and Josefine who was assisting as well during peak hours, the others seem to be lost and/or completely uninterested. Breakfast time, every item seems to be finished all the time. One time no bread; when bread arrives, no bacon; when bacon arrives, no coffee. It is a bit frustrating. The room size is big so that is a plus.

Reviewed By malcolmm786Terrible customer service. They put me on the first floor and there was very loud music from the restaurants near by until 2am in the morning. I woke up over and over again, despite wearing ear plugs. When I tried to call reception, they first didn't answer for a long time, and when they finally did, their response was verbatim "what do you want me to do about it?"

Because of the corona virus everything at the breakfast buffet was wrapped in plastic. We enjoyed it. Students were graduating both on the Friday and Saturday we stayed there, and lots of noice and party going on outside. But everybody was happy, so it be. Slept well. Had a good time. Basic rooms with no fridge, no toiletries but it was like we expected it to be. Not many guests, because of the corona virus. Loved the central location and the view.

Supermysig spa-del med stor bubbelpool, bastu och relaxstolar ?? Stor och bra frukostbuffé ? Jättetrevlig personal!! Vi är så nöjda, tack och på återseende ?

An ok stay - but a thirsty one!!
Reviewed By micheele rI booked this hotel while visiting Eskilstuna for five nights. The first night I was due to arrive in Eskilstuna at 11pm at night. My husband had rang and got the door code as the reception is not open at that time and the key was waiting for me when I arrived. The room itself was clean and the beds were VERY comfy - I overslept a couple of mornings and we were next to the toilet. This was handy in many ways but could be noisy as people went to the loo. However I was not bothered as I am a deep sleeper!! I was disappointed that there were no facilities to get a hot drink on arrival or any night once you had got back to the hotel. The kettle which was out at breakfast was bizarrely hidden away once breakfast was finished. I think it would be a nice touch to leave it out with some tea bags for the guests to use before bedtime. I was also questionned by the man working in the hotel as to how I got in when my flight arrived late. I told him I had the code and he seemed a little weird about it. He then questioned me about payment which made me feel a little like he thought I was going to do a runner. If you want a cheap, clean hotel to stay in, then this is alright but take a kettle and some tea bags or you will need to buy drinks out all the time - which isn't cheap at all.

Reviewed By Fleur98This hotel is a budget travellers dream! It's above a reastaurant and near a shopping centre. There is a communal room where there is coffee cake and fruit available. The bedrooms are small but comfy and clean. It was very very hot when we were there but our room had a fan and it helped a bit! Breakfast was ok but there are a lot of eateries nearby. Talking to some othe guests it would seem that not all rooms have windows! Be aware when you book! The staff were good and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

I was extremely disappointed as I checked in and found out the wi-fi wasn't working in the rooms, it only worked in the gym and reception area. As it was a business trip I had to sit in the reception to work there- very annoying. It also meant that the tv didn't work in the rooms as they also run on wi-fi. Had I known in advance that the wi-fi wasn't working then I had booked another hotel so this would have been a great thing to inform about. The gym was great and the breakfast was good but I will not return. Not having working wi-fi in Sweden 2021 is not ok!

Starting to be old and tired
Reviewed By Pia PWe booked the Room-service package in a suite and had accommodation in a suite with jacuzzi located in the Manor house. The reception is located in a separate building that looked like a 80s conference building, this was a bit disappointing. After check in we got directed to the Manor house. When entering the Manor it was impressive, walking up to the second floor, it becomes apparent that it’s starting to get old. We got to our room and it’s size was very nice with a separate sitting area with sofa and armchairs, bedroom area with the bathroom. But unfortunately the room was not well cleaned at all. A lot of sand on the carpet, dust in every corner and in the middle of the floor. Sheets and towels seemed clean, there was morning gowns available for loan in the suite. The bed itself was comfortable, very high up so you have to climb a bit, but fluffy duvets and pillows. There is a minibar available in the room. Dinner and breakfast is served in the suite, from the castle kitchen. A three course dinner, is delivered to the room, all dishes are delivered at the same time, packed in boxes. You get a large box to pack used plates and cutlery in it and put it outside after dinner. If you want wine with the food, I would recommend to bring your own, the selection in the reception is not paired with any of the food. Next morning a breakfast bag with sandwiches, fruit, juice and coffee is delivered to the room. For coffee you have a Dulce Gusto machine in the room, and you get capsules with the breakfast bag. The surrounding area with the garden is open to the public, and there was a huge amount of people walking just outside the Manor house, many of them barbecuing, playing games, shouting, so note that it is not a relaxing area during good weather. It can be very difficult to get parking if the garden is full with visitors.
