The holiday village Baia del Silenzio is located in Caprioli town, a few miles from Capo Palinuro Cilento National Park. Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, lighted by Crystal reflections and colours of lush vegetation and lush greenery the Resort Baia del Silenzio is located directly by the sea in one of the most beautiful bays of the coast of the Cilento National Park.
TOURIST TRAP: Overrated & Overpriced
Reviewed By Iván GAVOID AS A FOREIGN TOURIST! The worst lodging experience we had in our whole trip in Italy. Their whole staff does NOT speak English (except a waiter) and are unqualified for foreign tourists. They even get aggressive when someone doesn't understand their instructions. They developed an App, which is only in Italian and no chance of changing language. They don't care nor apply any COVID protocols, we were never checked our Green Pass nor even got our temperature checked. The swimming pool is super crowded with kids and people who do not respect social distancing nor the swimming pool reservations. Except for the swimming pool area, the infrastructure is old and outdated. The activities are few and boring, they take place only in Italian, with only one show per night (ex. Kids Dance) followed by cheap animation by the same staff. The food is very low quality, with cheap whine (obtained from the juice dispenser), not even the breakfast is appropriate. We stayed one night and asked a full refund, which they refused to give until we warned them that we will call our lawyer. Each night costs more than 170€ plus made up beach taxes. This is extremely overpriced and completely not worth it given the above-mentioned problems.

Reviewed By JanLarcobalenoIf you are looking for a calm picturesque place far from urban bustle, if you may appreciate the view of the sea with ships passing by and moonlit path from your window, if you value comfort and cleanliness of the house you live in you should have the Residenza Golfo Degli Palinuro in the top list of your priorities. Hospitality of the hosts - Ciro and Germana - beyond praise. We spent our vacation in Italy for the first time but when we were leaving we felt that we had found relatives. They are always very friendly and ready to help you make your vacation comfortable and interesting: organize trips to the nearest places of interest, help you to explore the area. You feel that you are a very much welcomed guest. The Residenza itself is very nice: big light rooms with simple but stylish furniture, equipped with all necessary things: air conditioner, washing machine, dryer, tv, kitchen with everything for preparing and eating at home. Tableware, towels - everything is very neat and tidy. Lace napkins add special charm to the interior. You may get to the sea by car (10 minutes) or on foot (20 minutes). On foot - is a fine way to keep yourself in a good form and come back home without extra weight after pasta, pizza and gelato ;)). Two more words about the nature around: sandy beaches, mountains covered with pines and eucalyptus, crystal-clear sea - all these make the place attractive not only for foreignness but for italians themselves. Simply incredible!!! Great hospitality, amazing view, relaxing place
Reviewed By robertkoltaiWe spent 2 weeks in Villa Incanto in June 2018 with two kids. It was simply incredible. Giuseppe and Margherita treated us so well. We started the day with breakfast and capuccino. But it was not just the usual one. The kids also got their cappucino from Margherita! We were enjoying the amazing view. The rooms were clean, the air conditioner working as expected. We spent most of our days and evenings out, but one evening we had a dinner at Villa Incanto and the food (antipasto, primo, secondo) was really-really nice. I would also emphasize how much help we got from Michaela, the local guide. She has an extensive knowledge about the region and all her advices are to be followed. She helped us a lot and was available whenever we needed help. For those who don't know the region: with some drive you can reach amazing beaches, beautiful towns and museums, archeological sites and natural park's incredible sites.
