Reviewed By Florian_TudorI booked an 4 stars room for 2 nights at Maria Hotel. After check-in, I called at the reception in order to announce that in the bathroom is terrible dirty and the receptionist answer that he don’t care about this, but he will send someone. After a few minutes came the maid and she told me that she cannot do anything with the cleaning, but she will bring one towel and some hangers. I go to the reception in order ti find a solution after the receptionist hang up the phone with indolence. But nothing happened !!! The photos speak themselvs.

Most awful take away lunch ever
Reviewed By florinab2015I ordered food, mostly fish for 10 people as take away. The orders were put altogether on bigger plates, something i had not seen before, as every songle person had to look for his fish. The same happened with the side dishes. ..what can i say, i ordered butterfish with lentil puree, asparagus and parmigiano...i did not find the side dish anywhere, after looking in every plateau. After i called to let them know that i did not receive it, they told me on a superior tone that they were out of that side dish and replaced it with zuchinni. It is not normal to order something worth 55 lei and get something else in return. The food was not really good either. I will not order again from this restaurant as i was very disappointed with the food and personnel.

Reviewed By elekg2022Hotel is nice, located in the middle of a forest. Rooms are comfortable, warm and clean but no proper GSM network coverage. Cell phone cannot be used in room. I made a reservation using the email address shown on the website. I never got any answer so I called for confirmation. They confirmed the reservation over the phone.Three days later, the reservation was nowhere to be found. They denied everything,my email, my call. Finally they provided a room but when I complained for their mistake they completely ignored me, never apologize and finally they informed me that I will never be allowed to stay at this hotel in the future. Practically they through me out. Breakfast starts at 8 but in reality the restaurant was closed at 8 am. All guests were drinking a coffee served in the lobby on reception desk. They charged me for breakfast but never served.

Reviewed By Petru87I think this is the best hotel in the city. In the last three years we stay there over 10 times, never got disappointed. Staff is very friendly and location is the best. Definitely recommend it to you all.

Air conditioning
Reviewed By gabrielbodeaIf there is a wedding in the main lobby, the air conditioning is directed there and in the rooms you can enjoy the sauna. Almost 29 degrees Celsius. Also, the room was not very clean (dust on all furniture). For the 5th floor, you have to take the elevator to 4 and then up the stairs to 5. 4 elevators and only one functional.

Reviewed By buttonsuk1I stayed here with friends we had 6 rooms and and they wasnt to bad, my room 108 was lovely very comfy and clean . The only negative was when I tried to run a bath the bath water run under the bath and water everywhere so then tried the shower but once I had finished the water was running in to the lounge again from under the shower. They did try to fix it but never done it properly. The staff was lovely. The breakfast was a very basic ham cheese and tomatoes and bread.

Reviewed By Raluca JThe most anoying thing was that the room didn't have air conditioning and it was so hot that I coudn't rest well. All the curtains were closed all day long but still hot. Bed, closet's doors was so noisy, all of them must be fix. And another thing which can be anoying just for me was in the bathroom, there is no shower cabin so when you shower it's going to be some water all over the floor. It can be sliperry and dangerous. Done with the bad things, I liked the size of the bed, big one and the balcony.

Reviewed By Mila JThings were falling apart in the room, the mini bar empty, the ventilation and cooling system was not working properly, noisy street from the cars. We couldn’t sleep at all because it was extremely hot and noisy. We asked for a receipt at checkout and we didn’t get one. The answer was that the girl who was on duty last night took it with her. Really? She took home the receipt? And of course they refused to print another receipt or to call the manager because “she was sleeping”. At the end we didn’t hear at least “we’re sorry for the unpleasant experience”.
