Reviewed By KelehtarWe stayed for three nights in the hotel and we want to highly recommend the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay; the staff was super friendly, professional and the atmosphere was very good. We stayed in Austria for 7 nights, three of those in Hotel Laudersbach, and it was the best hotel we've been to in this vacation. To this hotel, I would definitely return when I'll travel again to Austria. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Daniela JStayed there for skiing weekend. Hotel has good location close to slopes in Flachau, is very clean, big family room. Very frindly staff, nice sauna part of this hotel. Delicious breakfast and very good dinner.

Reviewed By joe mBernard and his staff were exceptional. I was recommended by a friend but did not expect the service we received. I cannot wait to go back. Family run hotel with fantastic Michelin star food. Do not get me started about the barbecue night in the “HUT”. Great craic!

Spring Skiing
Reviewed By Atis ZGood and quiet location still need a car or a skibus to get to slopes. Friendly staff, in-room equipment and furnishings are ok but not more than that, nevertheless it is fully made up with the food - we were staying on a half board package, and both breakfast selection and dinner menus and quality were great for accomodation of this type. Overall, I would certainly recommend Scheffer's to anyone looking for the accomodation in Altenmarkt.

Super Modern With Old World Charm (How'd They Do That?)
Reviewed By RoMoDoJoArrived in evening after a very full day and were surprised there were two rooms available, and reasonably priced. They carved out a free parking spot for us and showed us to our rooms. Wow! Super nice and a sweet balcony also. The staff was attentive and the location was right in the middle of this very nice and trendy town. We opted to eat at the cafe across the street even though they have their own bar/restaurant/patio at the guesthouse. We knew we would be having breakfast there and that also did not disappoint, Very nice. I would return for another stay and heartily recommend Gasthof Rosner to you.

Att man kunde checka in sent var en klar fördel och det som var anledningen till just detta val. Men trevligt bemötande och familjärt samt tyst och lugnt var mycket uppskattat förutom en mycket bra frukost.

A lovely winter holiday
Reviewed By 557katarinadThe hotel is very nice, well located. The skibus stops just in front of the hotel. You can go skiing to Zauchensee, or Flachau. The room was nice with a lovely view. The staff was very kind and helpful. The food was fine, for the kids and for adults as well. The spa was small and not appropriate for so many people. But anyway, we have spent a great week here, had a lot of fun and we will probably come back next year.

Still not enough, nothing more to say, good hotel. Bla bla bla. Fresh food, local free range eggs. Nice garden, okay indoor pool, sauna, ping pong table.

Great with some issues
Reviewed By margotsmumThis is a great hotel but it does have a big problem with drinks availability that urgently needs to be addressed. Water is never replenished in the room and there are no coffee/tea facilities at all. Even at the afternoon ‘tea’ which is included, no ‘tea’ is actually included! We are here at the moment and i just went to try and replenish our water for our room from the restaurant. I saw some tea bags which I assumed were for guests and was shouted at by one of the waitresses for taking it and was told I was strictly only allowed the teabag at breakfast! She was very rude to me in front of my children but also it just seems ridiculous on a skiing holiday that it is that difficult to have a cup of mint tea or some water. I wouldn’t normally care about things like this on a holiday as there are clearly more important things, but it has had a really negative impact on our holiday. The rest of the holiday has been good. This is not a luxury hotel but it is in a great location and most of the staff are absolutely lovely. We also love the sky spa on the top floor. A couple of other issues - we ordered a good bottle of red wine which was accidentally put in ice making it cold and undrinkable. We waited half an hour for someone to say something and eventually had to ask for someone to help us with this. We were also served a beef carpaccio which was still actually frozen (obviously not defrosted properly) they replaced it but we were quite surprised to see we were given no discount or apology for this. This was one of those holidays where we arrived and thought it was just fantastic but as the week has gone on we have really seen that there are issues. I’ve given it 4 stars as I acknowledge that this is a very inexpensive hotel and they are doing their best. There are some great elements - but ultimately, you just want to be able to make a cup of tea sometimes without being shouted at!
