Reviewed By Patrick MI went 1 night end of July 2014. Rooms have sign of oldness and without good insulation. It was very noisy. No hanger for the clothes. Bed sheet had stains. But very good situation and friendly people. It is 700 meters from the fort Good breakfast.

Reviewed By ivonnel371We are in brazil for a month now and its the firsf time we are disapointe by an hostel. First, yes is cheap but believe me you rather pay a few extra$$ and not stay here. The location is about 15min walk from the beach not bad. The rooms are old they smell terrible. They dont change the sheets and regarding the shower towel they will provide you one at the check in and then you have to keep the same one for 4days!!! If you want a new one you have to pay$$. The pool is not functional, we asked the receptionist (by the way i know this is an hostel and you are expecting the receptionist to at least speak a lil bit of english FORGET IT. She dont speak any english, i speak french, spanish and english. No way she didnt understand nothing, which i think if you are working at an hostel you should communicate with the guest..So the pool is cleaning 1time a month, believe you dont want to get into the pool. The pool table is broke you cant use it. The fridgerator is never clean, the same fish plate is there since we arrived a few days ago. Customer service terrible, Room are dirty and old, location is ok. Like i said if you want cheap there are better place then this one!
