Reviewed By Adela_SrotWe visited the hotel before Christmas, the atmosphere was amazing. We had a great room ideal for our family. The hotel has thought of every single detail and it is run to perfection. The food was also delicious. We had half board and it was a brilliant choice. The skiing in Saalbach Hinterglem is second to none as everything is interconnected. We weren't so lucky with the weather as it was snowing heavily. But honestly the hotel offers enough entertainment itself. We'd love to come back!

Helped us out of a pickle
Reviewed By David COn a recent road trip we had planned stops across Europe from the UK. However we had nowhere to stay in Austria so at 5.45pm with just 15 minutes left before the advertised booking closure time of 6pm called and made a reservation. This lovely Austrian family run hotel/farm reassured us that a room was available for our family of five.. We arrived later that evening 8pm and wow we were blown away the place is amazing the family who own and run the hotel and the breakfast are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. The perfect mountain hide away
Reviewed By Andre - Freibur... AFamily owned vacation "park", nicely located at a scenic and sunny hillside spot at the small village of Muehlbach. Composed of several beautifully and originally designed mountain cottages with all modern comfort (exquisite amenities, fire place, sauna etc.) which are arranged around the old family farm house and stables - creating a unique atmosphere / mix of farm life and private comfort. Place is amazing for kids as the usual farm animals are hosted in a way that makes it easy for kids to connect (lots of friendly cats and kittens, a friendly farm dog, goats, horses - with an inclusive offer for kids to ride - etc.). Vicinity offers full range of mountain hiking activities in a beautiful alpine area of the Salzburger Land - easy to walk on a different trail every day with lots of excellent mountain lodges to visit for lunch / dinner. We were most impressed with the dedicated service quality delivered by our hosts - who really put their heart into making your stay a perfect holiday.

Reviewed By Christine HWe enjoyed dinner here with a large group of friends. It's a little drive outside of Innsbruck, but well worth it. I ordered my favorite, Käse Spätzle, and it was probably the best I've ever eaten! The outer edge was crusted with cheese. The portion was huge, and the price lower than in most other restaurants. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent, with the servers staying a bit past closing to accommodate us. This came up listed as a hotel, but we weren't aware they offered lodging.

Great place for families!
Reviewed By Jacek_WienWe were three times in Ottingerhof already, always in summer. A very friendly place for families with kids. A lot to do there, no matter if it is sunny or raining. Very nice and helpful owners! Comfortable rooms, quiet location but still close to the thermal pools and the center of the city.

Reviewed By Anastasia AWe had great time spending the last days of 2013 and the beginning of the new year at the Familienbauerhof Mesner. The hospitality of Erwin of his family made us feel like "at home" from the first day. We had breakfast with all the fresh products we could get directly from the farm. The kids liked particularly the yogurt and the bacon. MMMMMmmmmmmm..... We were also lucky to have a lot of snow and enjoyed down hill skiiing at the slope of Obertilliach and cross country at the valley, ideal combination so that the whole family was happy! Our plans is to go again there during the summer or fall and discover all the beautiful things that are around.

Reviewed By MrNapkinHeadWe stayed here for 2 nights, with 3 persons + very friendly people + large apartment + good beds + good wifi + huge balcony + nice breakfast + good shower with unlimited hot water + beautiful view + kitchen with good cooking supplies + ski/snowboard shoe warmers! You can see the Bartlhof on the Lermoos webcam 5 min walk to the lift The only downside I could think of are the very soft pillows

Reviewed By FarAway538854Our family (mom, older son and a younger son, who is 4) had a week during the winter holidays in the outstanding place Marteshof. Memorizes from the fantastic place in Tyrol will be in the mind for decades. The village Wens is relatively small, however, the one can find everything necessary in it: supermarket, doctor, pharmacy, gas station and so on. It is 15 minutes to arrive at Pitztal (ski resort). You need to go down from one mountain and climb another. In the resort, the one can find a variety of entertainments, especially a good kids club. The house fits perfectly for couples and especially for couples with children. The apartments are very clean and equipped with everything you will probably need for a comfortable being. There is a playing room for kids in the building with a bunch of games, even for adults. The house is located near the farm. Hospitable hosts entertain guests: conduct farm excursions and teach children how to care for animals and even how to ride horses! A farm’s museum exists! The family is highly friendly and always wish to help if something is needed. Highly important! Siglinda cooks an amazing bread for breakfast. We recommend testing this perfect bread for everyone, who reads it! Tanja knows the English language and of course is pleasant to advise or support if you asked her. Martin and their charming princess Lorena guarantee a good mood. Unusually delicious air, healing water and the kindness of the family create a real miracle - we had a great time there, we already miss and we will definitely come back))! Thanks, Marteshof!

Nice comfortable farmers House zittrauerhof with comfortable guest double rooms and apartements in the region of gastein valley. 400 year old house with a special atmosphere. Lots of animals, homemade products and traditional food.
Fantastic hidden gem
Reviewed By CANDICE_KOLAROVAWe were very impressed with this magical place just outside Bad Hofgastein!! Katharina always had a breakfast "surprise" every morning. The boiled eggs even had cute little messages on them. Katharina makes the BEST home-made mozzarella and her mom's butter is out of this world! The kids enjoyed their fresh farm milk every morning. We stayed here for 6 nights and felt very much at home. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen, which was ideal for us. It was nice the kids had their own bedroom and TV :) The apartment was cosy and clean. The farm and farm animals were also amazing and Katharina showed the kids how to feed the calves, which the kids LOVED. My daughter cried the day we left, because she just wanted to stay with all the animals. The location is perfect - very close to the Bad Hofgastein Schossalm ski lift, and the Angertal ski centre is just over the hill. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Katharina for your homely accommodation!!
