Reviewed By fpclarkeMy friend and I stayed in the Calabash spacious 2 bedroom apartment in mid November 2021. It was the perfect location, walking distance to the beach and not far from the good restaurants bars and live music venues. The apartment had good WIFI coverage, super cool air condition, friendly and accommodating staff. There is restaurant bar on site and a pool surrounding by lush gardens. I would like to say a big thank you to the owner for being so helpful, kind and attentive during our 6 days stay. Fay

Reviewed By jeffwithjulieMy last visit to The Gambia was on business and for pleasure. We booked into the Riyan Apartments in Kololi just passed the Junction with the Palma Rima hotel. Situated above the convenient Supermarket with a large car park just set back of the Birtil Harding Highway and a 5 minute walk to the beach down Palma Rima Road. The entrance and reception is clean and welcoming with 24 hour staff available. All the staff we encountered were very professional, well trained and gave excellent service. They made you feel welcome and nothing was too much for them. Becky the owner/ manager was wonderful too and we alway got a good welcome and a smile when ever me went through reception. Out back is a nice swimming pool and sun beds set in nice quiet garden. The Room was large with a separate bedroom and en suite and was very reasonable for the price. The Apartment was far better furnished than all the regular hotels we had stayed in before. The shower worked brilliantly with hot water always available the bed new and comfortable with clean soft cotton bedding along with Air con in the bedroom made sleeping easy in the hot humid nights. The kitchen had a cooker and fridge and with a few steps to the supermarket for fresh breakfast ingredients we had breakfast outside each morning watching Kololi awake to its normal busy commute. The room also had a TV and two sofas but who comes away to watch TV. Location wise it’s fantastic been 5 minutes from the beach or a 5 minutes Taxi Ride to the strip. In between you have loads of bars and restaurants to cater for you. This is certainly a place to consider staying in if you are after a self catering apartment in kololi and we sure would stay here again in the near future We had visit morning from the monkey you can see in the picture. We were sat having breakfast when he appeared from the left.

Fridge / hob/ sofas Shame it doesn't Have oven but they don't use them out there They have run generator a lot as power issues Short walk from main road that makes it better that being in tourist hub and inflated prices

Experience African Life in 'The Rock Garden Apartments' & Real Estate and Contraction Company The German/Gambian owned Rock Garden Apartments are situated inside a beautiful and quite garden, with flowers, mango-, papaya-, avocado-, banana- and coconut trees. The whole area is well secured and each Apartment is fully furnished and has a ventilator. Most apartments feature a lounge with satellite TV and a kitchen with all cooking facilities and a fridge. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with toilet and shower and the beds have mosquito nets. The terrace of each apartment faces the garden and all the windows have mosquito netting. A stand by generator and water tanks guarantee a frequent water and electricity supply. Internet connection is available and a small shop attached to the property will meet most of your basic needs. We are 15 to 20 minutes’ walk to the beach (Monkey Park - Senegambia-Hotel) and public transport (which passes on the highway) is within easy reach.

Reviewed By Marco MA very hot and sauna type heat! It reached 44 degrees during my stay! We did a Segway Tour, and after tuition we had 2 hours going around the rock! Excellent staff Richard and Scott. Breakfast served first thing and then the activity. Breathtaking views! Sunscreen and a hat is a must!

Reviewed By Ulupi TOur stay was extremely pleasant in Ocean Spray. The location, overlooking the ocean, actually made staying there attractive. The apartments are very well maintained, clean and the staff is very prompt and helpful - just what you need when you are in an extended stay. Amenities also include wifi so you need not miss out on your important emails etc. Its also a wonderful option for people wanting to cook their meals themselves as it has a fully functional kitchen. Overall a real deal!!

Reviewed By Notts2233Rooms really spacious and cleaned everyday we stayed on the front so hAd a great well equipped kitchen paid for our own electric which wasn't expensive quiet pool area (loved the sheep what a character) lovely staff on reception and the lovely lady on the pool area couldn't do enough for us great location o let down side was the noise from the road hooters going constantly but that wouldn't put us off staying again great value for money and great little shop just around the corner near the football pitch that sold everything with a smile

Benechin etc. Guides to help you with any/all of yolur requirements from being a local guide, organising trips, advising on local activites. Relaxed from the moment I arrived (which is very unusual for me)

Self catering apartments ideal for holiday stay! Great location, in a quiet residential area, but only a 5 minute walk to the Senegambia strip where there are many restaurants and shops, and a ten minute walk to the beach. One, two, and three bedroom units available. All have a fully stocked kitchen, living room with satellite television, and full bathrooms. Excellent choice for an affordable, relaxing holiday!

Reviewed By gamgiahols44this time i booked for eight weeks taking in christmas and new year i paid £1000 for the room which i was expecting to pay £750 but the owner said he wanted £1000 so like a fool i paid because i could not be bothered to argue, i got fed up of hearing the owner shouting everyday, at the staff who work VERY VERY HARD but he wants the last ounce out of them. I lost count of the number of people who came for a room and left saying it was to expencive for what you get for your money, i will never return it has changed so much since my first visit.

Wonderful experience
Reviewed By Christine SI have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Pineapple. The place was recommended via a friend who in turn has the same experience as I did. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and tidy and the location is spot on, just 5 mins walk from the Beach and the Main strip. Because it is set back from the highway you also get no noise or disturbance from late night revellers. In fact, I had a perfect nights sleep throughout my stay. When I tried to book my visit, i did notice that the contact details were not visible on the Web Page. Luckily my friend had one of their advertising leaflets from Her visit so i was able to proceed. That minor blip apart I would happily recommend the Pineapple to any traveller looking for a great value Self-catering in the Gambia.
